Where do most Pop Warner guest stay?

We are planning our Dec. trip and will be there the first week of December and from what it looks like it will be Pop Warner week. We have resigned to the fact of that but was wondering where most Pop Warner participants stay? Are they usually at Values? For those of you who have been this week or participated the help would be appreciated.

We usually go that week. In the past, I think they were in the value resorts and overflow was at POR or POFQ.

Most Pop Warner kids will be at the All Stars and Pop. Last year, overflow went to POR. I've also heard of them staying at CBR in years past. To be safe, I'd stay at a deluxe or at CSR. We were there during during Pop Warner last year. We stayed at Pop Century since I'd read on numerous threads that Pop was not equipped to handle large groups. That did not turn out to be the case. There were a lot of Pop Warner kids there.

Does it impact on the crowds at the parks much?

Thanks. We just got back from CSR and really enjoyed it but wanted something different. We have done the values and was thinking CBR this time. I will probably take my chance with the overflow crowd. We will have a great vacation no matter.

I would think that CBR is large enough and spread out enough that you could get away from the kids if they are there. Just request to be in a different section, should be ok.

Does it impact on the crowds at the parks much?

Not in my experience. We've been at this time very year since 1998. Since we don't stay at the values, I'd have never known it was Pop Warner time had I not read all about it here on the DIS.

You might occasionally run into a group, but most of the kids are busy with their events over at the WWoS during the times the parks are open. They may have a special private event (after hours) at MGM or one of the other parks one or two nights during the week.
