Where do I start?

I am totally new to scrapbooking. I have a Cricut machine on the way, have downloaded lots of stuff to use but wondering how do I start. I want to make pages to put in a book using both digital and paper. Any suggestions?
I am feeling a bit overwhelmed!

Welcome aboard! Not surprised you are overwhelmed if you're going try both digital and paper from the get go. AND you ordered a Cricut without having scrapped before

My advice.
1. Pick one method to start with and put the other away. If you haven't got any photos printed, then choose digital. If you have paper photos in hand, choose paper.
2. Sort your photos, either the 'in hand' ones or on the computer. Toss the junk.
3. Find a buddy who scraps the way you want to, and ask lots of questions before you buy anything else!
4. Take a class - either at your local scrapbook store if you have one or one of the craft big box stores (for paper scrapping) or on line for digi scrapping.

That should get you started moving forward. Details can come later and from other people.

which carts are you getting??
for new users - I think the paperdoll carts are the best - even if you aren't cutting the dolls, it is the extras that you want so there is alittle bit of alot stuff the dress up one has some great Halloween stuff plus princess & baby gear then the everyday one has lots of sports & work stuff - I think there is beach& snow stuff too

do you have kids?? pets?? hobbies??
