Hi

This is our 1st trip and I have booked tickets for party and been told to pick them up from disney. Where and when do I pick them up from. Does it have to be on day or party or any time once in resort.

Not sure why they not sending them!

If you're staying on site, you can pick them up at the concierge desk of where you're staying. If you're staying off site, you can pick them up at the "will call" (ticket) window at the Magic Kingdom.

Unfortunately you will have got a cast member that has no idea how to deal with international buyers, if you had tried again you praobably would have got someone else and not had a problem. They don't even know how much to charge, one will charge you $3.50 another will charge you the correct $10.
Personally I see no reason to have them sent, you pass enough ticket sales to collect there. We usually collect at Downtown Disney guest services on our 1st night, or you can collect at any park, or resort.
You can collect anytime from now until entering Magic Kingdom for the party.

In the past they have sent out special event tickets. This year i was told it is a 'will call' pick up from MK guest services

I was told they would not send them and to pick them up at MK ticket office.

As previously posted some staff members don't know the details when dealing with overseas guests. When I booked our 2007 MNSSHP tickets last May we were told to collect them at guest services in any park of TTC upon arrival. After reading about other disers receiving their tickets I phoned back and got a really helpful CM who stated that as such as small percentage of tickets are sold to overseas visitors not all CMs realise that all tickets can be sent to the UK for a small fee. They were very kind and did not charge postage as their had been a mix-up, I received the tickets about 5 days later!

There appears to be no international shipping this year, regardless of the CM knowing how to deal with international customers or not.

I had a really nice CM who I just booked my tickets with. He had pulled up my record, double checked my address and was in the middle of processing my MNSSHP tickets. He told me the price plus whatever it was for shipping to send the tickets here.

Having heard what others have said, I specifically said "can you actually ship to the UK? Some 'friends' of mine were told they couldn't have their tickets sent to them and had to use Will Call." Anyway, he thought that was strange and said he would check it out before he processed the transaction. When he came back he apologised and said "no actually we have to use Will Call for this." So, yeah, looks like all international customers will have to collect their tickets from Will Call. Not that it particularly bothers me.

I did Will Call last year and if you are staying onsite, you could collect them at Guest Services of your hotel. Otherwise, you could either get them from Guest Services at DTD, or at the ticket collection point at Magic Kingdom. I assume it will be the same this year.

When I booked mine yesterday the lady charged me $6 for shipping and knew all my address deatils and said they where on there way , I always have the tickets sent to me lets hope they arrive ;)

I phoned up again to see if I can get them shipped and they said they don't ship to the UK. Nice to know we can pick them up at POR though as I was told MK.

Hi

I ordered my tickets with my mum's cc card but she is not travelling with us we have the same surname will they question that she is not with us.

last yr we picked them up at the start of our holiday along with our ultimate passes as they were will call as well, wasnt a problem, you dont have to wait until the night of the party to get them, and you can pick them at at any of the parks or hotel conceirage if staying onsite.

You will probably need to show the credit card that the tickets were booked with to collect them.

Claire ;)

I called and order mine yesterday and the CM said that they would be shipped to me in approx 10 days. :confused3 Don't know why some of your have been told no?

Did you buy with an AP or DVC discount? Those tickets are only available on a "will call" basis because you have to show your AP or DVC Member card upon collection.

Nope. I'm not rich enough to join DVC and don't go often enough to get an AP. Point was he offered to ship them first off. It was only when I questioned it and got him to check that he came back and apologised. Since everyone here had been told Will Call option only, I didn't wanna pay extra for shipping, then go to ship them but something stop them from sending them and have my tickets get lost in the mailroom somewhere!

It's not a huge problem anyway. Collected our PPP at hotel reception last year when we checked in, so will just do the same this year.

Always been same ringing Disney unfortunately. If you don't get the answer you want 1st time ring until you do.
We did cruise at Easter, 1st phone call we were told we couldn't take sons friend without a notarized letter from his parents. After seeing solicitor who told us it would be over £70 and not needed I rang again, first person I spoke to said a parents letter with solicitors signature should do. I evetually got to a supervisor who said just take a letter from parents and parents driving licence to prove signature.
When we checked in he looked at the form and never asked for any letters or authorisation.
Its all down to cast member you get.

Has anyone recived an email confimation yet? I was told they were going to send one, so far nothing.

Just been reading threads on other forums. Just about everyone has had them posted to UK, just one I read had a problem rang again to be told no shipping to UK, rang 3rd time, no problem on their way.
They really need a better training system so all staff no what they are doing.

This is a long-time problem, unfortunately. We've had to phone several times in the past to get a CM who was aware that tickets can be shipped to the UK. In my experience, it's easier to phone back than to persevere with a CM who isn't clued-up.

Thankfully I have never had to ring for tickets delivering. Always order online with AP discount and will call.
Can't think I have ever ordered anything on the phone to be delivered. Online or instore. No idea how people have patience to book holidays over phone.
I am just not a phone person, been known to drive 5 miles to make an appoinment at dentist rather than ring.:lmao:
