Where do I go to inquire about DVC discount with cash reservation for Thanksgvng day?

Hi all! I currently have a preferred view studio booked at BWV checking in Sunday, Nov. 23rd for 3 days and I'm waitlisted for the fourth day Wednesday the 26th on points. I was told there was no availability as of now for Thanksgiving day. Do you think that is only for a points stay and I might be able to book that day on cash? Who would I go through to check, MS or regular 407 W-Disney number? Is the discount still 25%? I'd try to rent points from another member if I could but I'm not sure which way I'd be more successful. Thanks for any insight in advance!

While I highly doubt there will be any discounts for a holiday, you call MS for a DVC discount. If that doesn't work, I would also try calling CRO -- you never know what they have until you try and sometimes I've been pleasantly surprised (got a last minute CM discount on New Year's Eve of the Millenium at Coronado Springs!).

The Member Discount comes out of member inventory. It is 25%. Call MS to see if anything is available. You will get the same housekeeping as you get with points.

Now, even when DVC inventory is not available for points or member discount, there might be rooms in the "reguarl"Disney inventory. You would book these rooms through CRO and can use the information you get on the Resort Board or elsewhere regarding discounts that might be out there. You will be a regular Disney guest if you book this way. I think that you can ask MS and CRO to "link" the reservations so that you may not have to change rooms.

Thanks everyone! I'll call in a little bit to find out (I have to actually do some work here at my job first-the nerve of this place expecting me to work when I'm trying to plan my vacation 4 months from now! )

CRO only has a 1 bedroom for Nov 26, nothing for Nov 27:
