Hi everyone! I was looking for some advice on the best way to book a Jan 2004 trip for my family. Are the fares pretty straight forward? Can anyone recommend a booking agency? I have heard about rebates and shipboard credits for first time cruisers, etc...but have no idea where to begin. Any advice, strategies or money saving tips would be really appreciated!

Thanks!

Get on the official website www.disneycruise.com and request their vacation planning video and brochure. You can play around with dates and cabin categories on this site too to see what kind of cost you are looking at. Once you've narrowed it down a bit, I recommend using Dreams Unlimited Travel to book. They usually have a rebate program going and will keep an eye on the cost of your cruise. If the cost goes down, they'll adjust it.

Good luck. Planning is half the fun.

Biggest money savers: dates of cruise (Jan is a good time!), cabin category (you get the same food and entertainment regardless of cabin. . .that's just where you sleep!), book air and any WDW days separately, rental car is cheapest transportation to and from the port for a family. . .
