Where did you stay for your SBP wedding?

Hello! I am new to the post and just booked my wedding at SBP for 8/18/11 at 10 am. I really want to stay at the Yacht club but everyone has told me to make it easy and stay at the Boardwalk. I was wondering if anyone stayed at a resort other than the Boardwalk for a SBP wedding? If so did you find it difficult at all?

Have you ever been to Disney World? The distance between Boardwalk, Yacht Club and Beach Club is literally measured in minutes--walking.

I stayed at the Beach Club and it was not a problem.

We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter - it is our favourite resort and I knew I wanted photos taken there. I then got the Model A Ford with my dad over to the Boardwalk, while the rest of the party went in the limo.

I loved staying at a different resort as the journey in the car was so much fun and I got photos at several resorts in the end.

I stayed at the BWV and my DH stayed at the BCV. It didn't take him long to get over from the beach club you can walk or take the boat. If you want to stay at the Yacht Club then I say go for! Have a great wedding.

We also stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. We love POFQ & POR and knew we wanted pictures there. We also had a lot of pictures taken around the Boardwalk. Not to mention SBP was not it was in our price range Our wedding was also at 10:00 and it wasn't a problem. We rented a Rolls Royce to travel to SBP and my husband just loved that.

We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside for our wedding in May. It was just not in our budget to stay at the SBP area but I also plan on getting pictures taken at the resort before the wedding.

We stayed at Port Orleans French Quarter. Did not find it difficult at all....love the backdrop of that resort and it's not as busy as the Riverside side.
