At Steak n' Shake! Oh yeah......

It was actually a very thought out proposal. We met at a friends BBQ, after the BBQ was over we ended up going to Steak n' Shake to talk more....We left 7 hours later! For the proposal he took me to the same Steak n' Shake, actually wore the same clothes he was wearing when we met and made sure we sat in the same booth we were sitting in that first night. Then when we were leaving he got down on his knee in the spot where we had hugged for the first time.

Mine was in my kitchen on Valentine's eve. We had just gotten home from a nice dinner and DH had the ring in his pocket the whole time! He said it just didn't feel right doing it in public!

At the very front of the Magic Kingdom, infront of the flower garden that is shaped like Mickey, after Wishes on September 30th last year. He had been trying all day to get me right next to the castle for the fireworks and i was too busy worrying about us missing our bus back to our hotel on I-Drive!!!! (i didn't know what he was planning!) We were quite near the castle for Wishes and he told me he kept looking for space to do it throughout the whole show, but we were so crammed in there was no room. It was actually lovely where he did it though because it was a bit quieter and it was lovey seeing the lake and everywhere all lit up. My one regret is that i don't have a photo of the moment. I remember people walking by shouting congratulations and i can't believe i didn't ask anyone to take a photo! I think it was the shock and surprise, my head was in the clouds. I often wonder if any of the passing people caught it on camera. It was so lovely though and i feel really lucky that he knew to do it in my favourite place in the world! Oh and my ring is heart shaped! Love it!!

My DH gave me a promise proposal in Boston, MA right outside of Fenway Park(home to my beloved Boston Red Sox). He had origionally wanted to propose at a Red Sox Vs. New York Yankees Game (but those tickets are very hard to come by and very expensive). We followed the promise proposal with inner at Cheers in Fanuel Hall(I was kind of hoping for Cask n Flagon which is across the street from Fenway Park) He later tried to write the words "Will you marry me?" on my back under ny t-shirt and wrote "with you" and then got down on one knee in my bedroom and asked me to marry him. My ring however didn't come until a week before we got married when we were buying our Wedding Bands, and it's not the kind of ring DH wanted to buy foe me either(it's too simple for his taste). We are picking out new rings soon and I should tell him he should pop the question again with the new ring. It was still very romantic though.
