Ok, so we are going for the isle runner with rose petals look at the WP. Since Disney's cheapest runner is $270 we deceided to get our own. Warren told me to make sure that its 75 ft long and not thin. My biggest concern is that womens heels will get stuck in it while walking since it will be layed over carpet. So where did you get yours?? Cost? mongramed? Thanks!:)

Wow...I only paid $75 for one through Disney. Maybe they have discontinued that style :confused3. I had no problem with my heels or my MOH's heels. We both were wearing high heels with a thinner style heel.

My planner told me it was 7.5 feet wide and approximately 70 feet from the Altar Table to the back door... The Disney prices are ridiculous for the aisle runners...I'm going to DIY mine.:goodvibes

ok so I emiled Warren....They dont offer the $75 dollar runner anymore because they had so many problems with it.....but he did say this to clarify the length.....

"Runner clarification per dis board conversation: final finished length used is 69’. We buy the runner in 75’ lengths just because most companies sell them in increments of 25’. We then cut them to 69’ to fit the wedding pavilion. You can buy a 100’ runner if that’s was the company sells and we can easily cut it to 69’ in the pavilion so it will fit. Hope that helps. "

Phew! Thanks for clearing that up. I thought I was going to have a short runner there for a minute LOL

I had mine made at Custom Aisle Boutique for a fraction of the price I was quoted elsewhere. It is hand painted and the looks good. With the entire logo it was $210. I think without the quote and Tinkerbell it would have been $125ish. She will make it any length. I had her make mine 75 feet to be safe.

I love that Nicole....do you mind telling me how thick the fabric is? They have me so nervous that heel are going to go thur it now! Thanks!:)

It looks pretty durable, maybe as thick as a piece of cardstock? The website says it is a non-woven rayon. I'm not too worried about heels going through it. If I recall correctly, the carpet at the wedding pavilion is tightly woven so it will have a strong back to sit on.

As a side note, I am going to make sure all the girls have newer shoes (or re-heeled shoes) so the heel piece hasn't worn through to the screw part yet. I think that screw would go through a runner no matter how thick it is.
