Howdy! And welcome to my very first trip report.

I'm not a great writter by any stretch of the imagination...a terrible speler ...and I use ellipses way too much... (see....I told you!)

Anyway I hope those of you that stick around enjoy the retelling of my families trip as much as we enjoyed taking it. So here we goooo...

WHO

ME (Nate) the DIS Dad. I'm an Electronic Engineering Technician. I'm the Techno-nerd of the family. I'm not exactly a "people-person" yet I love WDW. I'm usually quite, but tend to chatter more with my fingers. Born and Raised in the oldest town in Tennessee and still live there.

DW (Mel) My wonderful wife of 16 years. She used to work in retail Managment, but shortly after DS9 was born she became a Full-time Mom...and we are all better for it.

DS14 (Boy) That is my actual nickname for him. He's a 95 year old man stuck in a teenagers body. Though he's starting to come out of his shell a little bit. He doesn't really care for the thrill rides...but he warmed up to them this trip. Start HS this year...dang they grow up fast.

DS9 (Tiny) Again that's my actual nickname for him...also call him mini-me. This is the one that's going to give mommy and me gray hair. He's pretty funny, a little braver than he actually is sometime...and has the uncanny nack of being very blunt and opens his mouth before he thinks...but you still want to squeeze him to pieces.

WHEN

That's 11 nights...10½ days for us as we had a 10-12 hour drive both ways.

WHERE
This was our FIRST onsite stay on Disney Property. After much research on the DIS Boards I selected...the Coronado Springs Resort...Turned out to be a perfect fit for my family.

WHY
We were celibrating freedom, family, and a little bit of personal triumph!

Our first stay on property was CSR too!

We loved it there, although we wish we spent more time in the resort.

We did plan to spend more time there...but DTD kept calling to my wife's need to shop.

Count me in too! We went in 2007 and stayed at CSR and LURVED it. Its our favorite place by far! Last year was full when we booked and so we ended up at AKL. Interesting but CSR is still our place and always will be!!!!
