Where did the grown-ups go?

I'm 14. I am also very open about my age, and would be very insulted if someone said that I was pretending to be an adult. There is a teen board. the majority of which is 11-12 year olds. the CB is for everyone.

Heck I'll just give my extra pounds away - no need to return them later. ;)

35 here. And I have a two for one sale, pounds and years that you can have! :rotfl:

My 7 year old logged on as me and made a post about our dog being cute today. People actually thought it was me and I had gone off my rocker. So yes I would say lately the average age around here has been a bit younger. :rotfl2:

It's me isn't it?ok i talk for a turkey sandwich. :teeth:

I guess I am out of the loop as usual, I haven't notice any age difference on the board lately.

I'm 28 today!

a/s/l? :teeth:

JUST Kidding people! I don't think I've typed those words in ummm EVER until now.

I'm 27..or 28. I forget.

I really like the Blink 182 song Whats my age again?

I know I'm newer around these parts but it does seem that there has been an influx of more 'immature' posts around here. Or maybe it's one poster trying on new socks.

I've thought the same thing - not necessarily an age thing but an immature way of posting that doesn't seem like it fits who they represent themselves as.

That's it, exactly.

I'm just thinking out loud. It's no one in particular, nor any specific thread. It's a general feel of the Community, lately. I have no problem with anyone of any age posting--that's what these boards are for.

50 here. Dan and I will just be over here in the corner playing canasta if you need us...... ;)

There are some VERY mature teens that post here particularly when you compare them to some of the immature adult posters. It's an interesting mix.

That's the problem with the Internet...don't take things too seriously...

You could have an 18 year old and be very mature and on the other hand you could have someone in their 30's that's a total jerk online and just amusing himself..

Agreed and for the record I am 38.

43 here. I really enjoy when the teens post. Their point of view is very refreshing and it puts a new spin on things!
