Where did the bride get those Mickey shoes ??

Hello

I just noticed a bride wearing a fantastic pair of glittering Mickey Mouse shoes on the wedding video of Tanja and Stefan on the STVS wedding gallery.

I want a pair!!!
Does anybody know where I could get them??? or do you think she had them made up with stick on Mickeys??
In that case where would you buy such stickers? I live in the UK, so I would no doubts have to buy from the US.

Tanja is a friend of mine and she actually made the shoes herself! I know I personally would never have the talent...nor the patience for that matter to do that myself. But you may, give it a go!

Wow, she is so clever. Would you tell her I was very impressed. They were beautiful, and I bet they were a lot comfier than high heels!!
She really must start selling them on ebay or something, I am sure she would do well.
I would buy a pair for sure.
I have until February to make a pair.

re: where to get stickers... try Joannes.com and Michaels.com. Those are two popular American craft stores. Not sure that their websites will ship out of the country, though.

Also, go to the Scrapbooking thread of DIS and look on the scrapbooking threads for other URLs where you can find Disney scrapbooking stuff. Some of the kits include stickers.

thank you for liking my sneakers and our video. Dossie told me that you where interested in where I got them. Okay.... I will tell you the secret of my bridal shoes: Since I come from Germany it was hard to find Disney things for our wedding so I had to do a lot of my details on my own. I had decided to absolutly not kill my feet on my wedding day (I know better: this is my second marriage) so I bought sneakers. There they were, standing infront of me so very boring and I came up with my idea: Mickey wedding shoes.
This is how to make them: You will need swarowski hotfix rhinestones in two sizes, hotfix applicator, glitter glue for t-shirts and of course a pair of white sneakers. Start making Mickey heads with big and small dots with the glitter glue, you will have to let them dry and repeat this 2-5 times to give them a 3D look. After you have glitter heads on the sneakers you can start placing the rhinestones with the applicator to make more Mickeys. What takes a while is the drying of the glue since you can only make a few dots and then secure the shoe to let it dry, otherwise the glue will start running.

I saw thoses and I am thinking of doing that to my shoes since I am wear flip flop/sandles so I can be comfortable.


So you are suing rhine stones to make the mickey all over the shoes right and hot glue to make them stick.


I wonder how it would look with red instead of silver so they match my dress better??

I got an error when I went to their wedding pictres... But, I really enjoed watching Wishes in the sample HDTV video. My DSIL wore Yellow sneakers at her wedding..

I have seen it twice. All the weddings are lovely, but some are just beautiful, Tanja's being one of them. They always leave me with tears in my eyes.
Your Mum must see it. She will love it.
