Where did our hamsters go? Another update (possibly the end) Final update #183

So sorry to hear about the hamsters. :grouphug: I know the kids are disappointed.

Is there anyone you can borrow a have-a-heart trap from? Now that you have inadvertently been feeding this other critter I'm afraid it'll keep returning.:scared1:

Our humane society lends those types of traps out.

Sorry about your hamsters.

Sorry about the hamsters. I know we were all hoping for a happy ending.

As for the current critter, our local conservation department also loans out live traps free of charge (and I have way too much experience trapping and relocating squirrels, possums, groundhogs and raccoons).

Our last hamster passed away this week. we never found the original hamsters and I assume they are long gone.

The offspring was born in our house and lived until this week. One of his sisters I gave to a teen girl who says that one is thriving. She is sweet and healthy and held and played with every single day.

Anyway, we are indeed finished with small rodents. We do much better with our dogs (can't have cats due to allergies.)

Dawn

Aww, I'm sorry Dawn.

I was thinking you were going to say you finally found the others. What a mystery.
