Where couldn't you live?

Anywhere rural. Or suburban. I'm a city girl through and through. I'm not sure about anyplace really cold, I've only ever lived in the South. But I have survived winter vacations, so I think I'd adapt.
I'm a city girl, too. I think I could live anywhere as long as I have access to a city (like airport within a $60-ish lyft). I think I could do most climates, but not "too hot all the time."

So I probably could not live in super rural areas around the equator.

There are certain places where I don't feel like I'd fit in attitude-wise, but as far as geographic features, rural vs. urban, that sort of thing, I tend to always find the benefits and just go with it. I might get bored somewhere with no seasons, but I've never lived anywhere without them, so I don't know for sure.

My sister and brother-in-law live in South Africa. I have visited a few times. It is very nice and I could certainly live there. They say the medical care is very good.

SA is definitely on our list of places to visit. We had planned a big trip for over a year for May 2020....and then I spent the last 1.5 years getting almost all of our money back. But we'd love to spend time there....Cape Town seems like a lovely place to live for awhile :).

Anywhere hot and humid (like Disney in summer). Also anywhere extremely cold. I like 4 seasons.

You know, as much as I pine for living in a big city like Philly again because there's so much to experience...I *really* don't think I want to anymore, especially with the crime there. I would move to a town here in New Jersey with more to do.

Wife and her family are from Portland, Oregon.

Nice place to visit, but could not live there (crime, housing, political issues, etc)

In a remote area where the nearest place around you is an hour+ away.

I love peace and quiet, but I need to have quick access to things. I’m too impatient.

Also anyplace where it's grey and rainy a lot. I prefer it sunny even if it means colder. Grey skies just make me sad.

Anywhere colder than where I am now.
Anywhere more than about 100 miles from an international airport.

Anywhere colder/snowier than where I live now, because I hate winter a bit more every year. Anywhere with a HOA. Anywhere out of easy driving distance to a major airport.

Middle of nowhere especially in the far north. I already hate demon dust-I mean snow-enough as it is. But being in the “middle of nowhere” when it snows? Hell no. I could never see me living in a large city, but a suburb of that city is fine. Once you get to where your neighbors are so spread out I’m like “nope”

As much as I LOVE Arizona, I don't think I could live there. The heat in the summer is excruciating, I have never felt heat that hurt, until experiencing 115 degrees of dry heat. Add to that scorpions, rattlesnakes, other poisonous snakes, tarantulas, desert creatures and it's a NO for me. But man that is one beautiful state. Nothing like an AZ sunset. I love the desert, just not all the things that live in it. LOL!

Anywhere not near a major airport. I'm retired, love to travel and hate driving an hour+ to airport and parking car vs being driven a few miles.
