Where can you take a boat to (other resorts)

We are staying in the cabins at Fort Wilderness in February, and have the free dining plan. I have almost all of our reservations booked, but two free nights still. I'd like to try restaurants at different resorts but we'll be relying on disney transportation, and wondering what other resorts are accessible directly by boat from Ft Wilderness? I was thinking it would be easier to take a bus or monorail to that resort, have dinner, then take a boat back home than if we had to do just buses, because then as I understand it you have to do a bus to a park, and connect to another bus back to your resort.

Thanks!

Oh, and if anyone has restaurant recommendations at any of the resorts accesible by boat that would be great too (not sure if that's relevant to this board or if I should post that on the dining board?)

No direct route by boat to other resorts execpt WL which has two nice resturants I would recommend, Artis Point and Whispering Canyon, you could go to Mk and transfer boats or monorail. We usually just drive to other resorts we like such as Boma's at AKL.

There is a boat to the Contemporary resort also. From there you can easily hop the monorail to the Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Lots of good food choices there. I like Kona and Grand Floridian Cafe.

The only resorts that the boat from FW will take you to are the Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary.
One of my favorite restaurants in all of Disney is Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge.
