where can you go with rented boats

We've previously renting a pontoon boat at OKW and know where you can go with that. If we rent a pontoon boat at the Contemporary, how far and where are you allowed to go with those? Anywhere on Bay Lake, or are ther places you can't go?

This was true as of last summer, when we did the recreation plan at WL in June/July....

You can basically go all over Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, with the following exceptions:

You must avoid the area on the opposite side of Bay Lake from WL where the parasailing and waterskiing is done - it is very clearly indicated when you rent your watercraft;

You can't dock at any of the other resort marina docks, only the one from which your craft is rented;

You can't pull up to MK beyond a certain point, to avoid interfering with the big transport boats.

You CAN get close enough to all the resorts to get a pretty good look, and it's a really interesting perspective.

SueM in MN, Mrs. Snowgod gave very good advice. But don't worry about a thing -- the Marina CM's will tell you exactly where you can go. And if you forget, the Shore Patrol CM's will definitely remind you (albeit with a bull-horn!).
