i did a search for the info on the glass slipper,( sounds just AWESOME!!!!!!!

but the places listed for the slipers are not places we plan on eating.....the only place at GF we plan to eat is Narcousees, can you get the slipper dessert there?
where else can you get it- a list would be so GREAT!

ps..do you get to keep the glass slipper as a sovie?????? ( country hick in me  )

thanks:bounce:

You would be able to get it at Narcooses, but, it MUST be pre-ordered a day or two in advance from the GF bakery. Also, it's not a "glass" slipper. The "Slipper" part is made of white chocolate, so you eat the entire thing, no take home souvenier.

It's not on the menu anywhere. You can get it served at any GF restaurant, as long as you order it IN ADVANCE!!

There is another slipper dessert I have heard about that is served at cinderella's castle. This one actually uses a "glass" slipper. My mom got it once on her trip. I believe it is filled with fruit or something. I can't actually remember.
Here is a link from another post in the wedding section that has a picture of the one that you are talking about.

Any restaurant at the Grand Floridian can serve it to you, you can check them all out at www.allearsnet.com

That includes the tea and room service, from what I've been told.

We enjoyed them at the Grand Floridian Cafe when we were there last and they were incredible.

Order in advance! A least a day or two, I did it couple of months out actually. Then confirmed when I got into town =)

THe hotel will not know what you're talking about, ask for the bakery when you call the GF. If you aren't able to get through to them, you can try speaking with the manager at hte restaurant you want to dine at, they will know what you're talking about.

It's the Cinderellas plate or White Chocolate slipper dessert.

thanks so much for the info- we will have two little princesses in awe when we eat dinner at 1900 park fare 7.2.04 ::MinnieMo

I heatd they are really expensive like $25. can you all afoord this much fora dessert? There is no glass slipper I think its a drink called a glass sipper you are all thinking off.

Im pretty sure it is around $8.00

The Glass Slipper is served at CRT:
The Glass Sipper - A frozen fruit smoothie served in our Cinderella's collectors glass $8

mine are getting the white chocolate slipper and its $8.00 I ordered it thru GF. I think she called it- Cinderella's slipper.

did you see the picture of it on one of the threads? It looks really nice.....Too bad mom and I don't like White Chocolate otherwise I would order it as a special dessert for her when we have the afternoon tea ( I would recommend the Tea it is wonderful! especially if you have girls!)

I'm sorry to bump this old thread up, but I've been having problems getting anyone to call us back. I've called three times now and left messages, and FH has also called. Does anyone have a direct phone number for the GF's food and beverage department? All I have is the phone number for the resort itself (407-824-3000).

For Jasminesmommy

I think you are referrring to the thread about cinderellas slipper desserts AND the mini cindys castle cakes that were shown on the food network. The castle cakes are 25 each and i ordered them for my sept trip.(dh would flip if he knew i spent 50 on dessert)

Can you order those mini Castle Cakes from the same place as the glass slipper?

I also saw those on the food network but didn't know that you could order one during a visit!! How cool would that be?

And are the cakes available anywhere in park or just the GF?

Disboards are GREAT!!

The cakes are only available at GF too. You have to contact the GF bakery for them. I think you have to contact them like at least 48 hours ahead of time. As well as Cindy's chocolate Slipper they have a Dog Bone dessert. I'm not sure what's on it.

Mini castle cakes?? How did I miss these?? Anyone tell me what they look like or have a picture?? They sound awesome!!

Try doing a search! There is a pic floating around here somewhere from the actual person who had the wedding on the show. How nice they were to share it with us.
