Are there any TS restaurants where you've found you can get fruit for dessert on the DDP? I've seen some CS where you can get packs of grapes or apples like the kids get, but are there any other options?

I do like sweets on occasion, but I think two desserts a day is just going to be too much for me! DH and I did the DDP back in September and I didn't think to ask then about fruit so I just ordered desserts and usually ended up only eating a bite or two.

Most table service restaurants offer fruit as a dessert option for children so you should not have difficultly finding a restaurant that will offer fruit for dessert.

Do you know if it is fresh fruit or when the TS menu for kids says "fruit cup" is that the little cups of fruit like the canned stuff? Thanks!

Many times its cut up melon (with a few grapes tossed in). Occasionally it is the little fruit cup (thinking the Japanese place specifically).

Most of the time, the fruit dessert for the TS places we've been in have been fresh cut up fruit. I do however remember one restaurant who gave us a sealed cup of fruit drowning in syrup :scared: to my children's dismay. The CM noticed the look on our faces:eek: and offered another choice, so they brought out ice cream.:)

YUCK! I can't stand the fruit in a cup stuff. I'm hoping for fresh fruit at all the places we are planning to eat.

i have ordered fresh fruit a number of times for dessert 'cause i wanted sweet, but i needed "light"... i have never had a problem :)

Chefs de France had a really nice fresh fruit mixture with mango sorbet in August. It was very good--and I'm picky about my fruit. This was not a kids' meal; it was the regular adult dessert.

Also, a lot of the restaurants have fruit sorbets of varying varieties. Though not technically fresh fruit, it's pretty close and not overpoweringly sweet most of the time.

I know that Whispering Canyon Cafe has a fruit plate dessert. I'm pretty sure Kona does.
