Where can you get a replacement DVC card?

Going in the morning, forgot our DVC cards. I think we need our ID cards to pick up our AP's with our vouchers (we purchased them online).

You can get replacement DVC cards at the SSR Sales Center. They might be temporary paper cards, but will serve you to get the DVC discount on APs and for other discounts.

Actually, they now issue plastic replacement cards at the SSR sales center. It looks just like the real one! I got one in May.

Also, you can get your AP's without your DVC member card. The ticket booth can call DVC directly, give you the phone for verification purposes, and then they will provide the necessary information to the cast member. They did at Epcot's International Gateway for me at least.

Or if you go to the member website, log in, it will identify you and should give you your member #, which you can then copy down and give them at the IG. Last year, when I purchased a new AP, they took the number off DH's AP, so that I could get the DVC discount. No phone call necessary.

Does anyone know the hours of the SSR sales center? We're new members (just closed on our resale), and would like to get our DVC card while there 12/12 so that we can convert our tix to APs. More importantly, we'd like to pool hop, and figure having the DVC card will help. :) Thanks!

Edited to add: or would just having my member number be enough for us to pool hop? We figure it's easy to hop over to the Poly or GF instead of heading back to our room mid-afternoon. Thanks!

We forgot our blue membership card last month. The CM at the window called MS and was able to get our info. Took a while but we got the AP's.

To pool hop you will need your Room ID identifying you as a DVC member since the perk is available only to members while staying on points at a DVC resort. The Room ID will identofy you a "DVC MEMBER" and that's what is needed to pool hop in addition to calling about availability at the pool before going over. The blue membership card won't really help for pool hopping.

I think the Sales Center opens at 8am - not sure about closing time, but the models are open until 7 for the member preview so it may be 7pm.

Having the blue membership card will certainly assist with the AP discount, although some have reported being able to get the discoount just with their membership number too.

Good luck!
