Where can you find food similar to Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

Are there any buffet or CS restaurants in WDW that serve "picnic food" similar to what they serve at Mickey's BBQ? We didn't think our kids would get much out of Mickey's BBQ so didn't want to spend the money, but having a meal with similar food items sounds very appealing.

There are several CS restaurants like Casey's that have hot dogs, and several TS places where you can get a burger. No buffets come to mind though. If you're referring to BBQ, Whispering Canyon at WL has good BBQ and Boatwright's at POR has some BBQ I believe. Neither are buffets though.

Doesn't Trail's End, also at FW, have similar food? For that matter, Hoop Dee Doo also has ribs and fried chicken.

Whispering Canyon Cafe at Wilderness Lodge has an all-you-can-eat skillet that has some of the same food. It is TS.

Flame Tree BBQ in AK, Cosmic Rays at MK, Fairfax Fare in HS all have BBQ chicken and ribs on their QS menus. You don't get all the fixin's, but you do get the meat.

I think Trails End is just what you are looking for.

Trails End should have basically the same food. Not sure if they have hot dogs though.

I think we'll take the advice and try out Trail's End! Plus, that will also give us an opportunity to visit Fort Wilderness and visit the Campfire sing-along. Thanks everyone!
