I wish WDW has Starbucks......

Where can we find decent coffee at the parks, and also at their resorts? I heard Kona has decent coffee. Is that true? But that is a sit-dwon restaurant. What if you just want to get a cup of coffee? Where ?!!!

Thanks

We are leaving tomorrow. Hurray:p

The best coffee is a pres pot of 100% kona at the kona cafe. This only comes in regular, not decaf, thats not 100% kona. There is a coffee bar adjacent to the cafe but it was never open when we were there. Almost all the coffee on site is the same brand and will be about the same where ever you get it. Espresso is now popular and we drink a lot of that because its fresh and had a good flavor. It was availible at all the parks and if we want a cup of coffee we order a Americano which is a cup of coffee made with espresso and hot water. We are big Starbucks drinkers and are now spoiled by the Kona press pot.

In addition to Kona, both Jiko and Boma at AKL have fantastic press pot coffee. V & As also has a unique coffee brewing experience.

You can get Kona coffee at the coffe bar next to Kona Cafe, and my Hubby was able to get a cup of Kona blend (also outstanding) from a Kona Cafe server as takeout during the day. We actually bought $80 bucks worth of Disney's Kona home with us. We have been rationing it carefully.

Thanks. We will definately check out Kona.

Does anyone know why WDW would not serve Starbucks coffee? Can't they get licensing from them? I can't imagine Starbucks would not want the presence at WDW.

A cup of coffee from The Bakery on The Boardwalk first thing in the morning when it is quiet sure tastes nice!

It probabally isn't the "best" cup on property, but I like it while sitting down at one of the red tables with my kids running around the boardwalk trying to feed the birds.

Enjoy!

Disney currently has a deal with Nescafe. My assumption is that Disney made a better deal with them than they could get with others - not sure if Starbucks and Disney ever even talked.

In the Polynesian on the second floor. Full-service restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. We love it.

The Kenyan press pot @ Boma was the best coffee I had for the whole trip.

I agree! The Kona coffee is also very good and was my favorite until I tried the press pot African coffee at Boma.

Definitely Kona Cafe (you can also get the same coffee at a small coffee bar in the Poly lobby), Boma and Jiko!

My DH also tried both of the press-pots at Kona and Boma....

In his opinion, Boma's press pot was smoother; he said that the press pot at Kona had a bit of a bite to it.

I wouldn't know though.... I just drink FOO FOO coffee.....

The press pot coffee at Boma and Kona....I am staying at both resorts....can I get these press pots through room service???? Or do you have to eat at the Boma and Kona???thanks...room service would be great...thank...amy

My husband really enjoyed his after dinner coffee at Citricos a couple of years ago. It was also a press pot.
