We are staying at the All Star Sports starting TOMORROW!!!!! :jumping4: YAYAYAYAAYAY! Now, I am looking forward to WDW but I must admit that I love football (I hope we get the touchdown building!! :thewave: ) - we extended our trip so we could actually watch the playoffs there and not have to fly during the games. does anyone know if/where we can watch the games? At the resort would be ideal but it doesn't seem like they have a central area with TVs? We won't have a car.

Thank you!!!!!

ESPN cafe/bar is the best place.

Of the resorts go to the poy which still has the old TV set up and running at the lounge by O'hanna's. Most other resorts it will be hard to find a tv.

We were at Disney over the first and went to the All star sports cafe at Wide World of Sports to watch the Rose Bowl. It was very nice the prices were reasonable and they had the big tv screens all over the room. You can take a bus from MGM over there.

Okay, so we are supposed to fly home the day before the superbowl, I wonder if we should change our flights home???? Would love to be in FLA for the game, and to see Tom Brady in the parade!!!!

Is it possible to watch it in your room? I honestly have never really tried to watch anything other than movies at Disney but at other resorts around Disneyworld on International Avenue during playoff season we were able to get them on our room TV. You know, the whole hot wings ordered to the room while screaming at the television situation! Anyways GO EAGLES! (Lol Sorry couldn't resist b/c thats my team!!)

Yes, the rooms get ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX, so you should have no problem.

There is nowhere in DTD to watch the game. That question comes up all of the time!

WELL- - we ended up staying the extra night (and thank goodness because we would have had a horrible time, stuck at the airport due to the snow!!)

We were trying to choose between ESPN club (in the boardwalk area) or the All star sports cafe or all sports cafe near animal kingdom I think... anyway - we were encouraged to go to the sports cafe because it would be less crowded and better viewing etc.

Interestingly, both were on the dining plan, too!

In the long run, I had a cold and we had tons of extra food in our fridge from the dining plan so we ended up watching both games in our room! I was tempted to go to one of the clubs, esp during the fabulous eagles game but it was sooo nice to be all snug in the bed eating chocolate cake and ice cream and watching football!!!!!

Heres hoping you get to see Tom Brady in the parade :wizard:
My FDH and I kept saying how lucky those people were who were in Disney after the world series. I think the Red Sox should organize a magical gathering!

they may have - we saw one of their outfielders with his daughter - i don't know them, real cute tall guy with long brown hair. he was very nice and signed autographs, etc - we saw him at the airport on our way home!

ESPN is the BEST!! They even have TV monitors in the BATHROOMS!! :cheer2:
