Is there a place in Epcot or Disney Springs? Or is it both places?

There is also an outdoor stand in Disney Springs, but I would recommend the Japan location in Epcot.

You can do it in all of those places, but Mitsukoshi in the Japan Pavilion of EPCOT is the best. They do a whole routine with you that I love. I think I've done it 3 times, to commemorate special events in my life. I love it.

About how much will it cost?

I got mine in Epcot/Japan, in that main souvenir shop. It's a very nice experience.

I think I paid about $20, but that was without the setting I chose. Some of them are basic but some are quite a bit more.
I did get a Beautiful large pearl one time and the next time, not a large one but sooo pretty pinkish color

I'd totally do it again. And at Epcot is fun cause of the "routine" they do. Plan on atleast 30 minutes and if s line to wait, longer.

We do it at Epcot every year! It's a great tradition and a beautiful, affordable souvenir. The first year we went I bought cages on etsy for our pearls for a really good price.

Does anyone have pictures of theirs to share here?
DD and I were thinking of doing this and would like to get matching settings. What kind of price ranges are there for the settings?

My kids had a great time doing this last May! My boy even got a blue one (his favorite color) and the biggest one of the day. Was around $20 and then we had them put in little vials of sand for a few bucks more.

I'll reiterate what was mentioned above, be prepared to wait. I've never seen it have a wait of less than 30 min, usually more. It's a crazy loud zoo in there
I think I worked around this schtick too much when I lived in Hawaii and worked down in Waikiki. We've done it once at Disney and it was enough for me. It sort of amused me that it may have been 30 years since I worked down there but the entire routine is exactly the same in the store at Disney as it was in Waikiki.

In May it was a walk up. Zero wait. I'm sure there are plenty of times it is busy, but it wasn't the day we went.

When we did this in June, we walked directly to the Japan pavilion as soon as World Showcase opened. There was one other customer picking a pearl when we arrived, so we were the second ones.

By the time we finished, there was a crowd building up. So, if this is a priority, I would suggest going there first when WS opens.

Side note- my daughter picked twins. She was thrilled! :flower1:

Twins! How cool!

Well we won't be able to be there until around 8:00 pm. Will it be opened?

It will be open till 9:00. Your issue may be that the wait at that time may exceed the hours of the store. Not sure there is any way to know before hand what you'll encounter

Can you bring your own settings in for earrings or do you have to purchase their settings?
