where can I get my Starbucks? at the BWV's

I could be wrong...but I don't think you can find Starbucks anywhere in WDW. I hope someone proves me wrong though!

I can't live without it!!!

Thx....

Will you have a car? If so, I think the two closest locations are between I-4 and 417 on 192 (Irlo Bronson) and on SR 535 (Vineland Apopka) just north of where it intersects with SR 536 (World Center Drive).

If not, I'm sad to say you are out of luck. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I love chai latte, so I understand the need for a fix! There's a Target on 192 that we usually end up shopping at and it has a Starbucks so I always pick up a latte there.

I've heard in the past that you can get the coffee (not all of the fancy drinks, but I'm not sure the extent) at the java bar in the Swan.

Lucky that you are at BWV because you can walk over the bridge to the Swan and Dolphin. The pool bars there serve Starbucks. Also Fresh at the Dolphin and Garden Grove at the Swan serve Starbucks.

You can get Starbucks at the Super Target near WDW as well. Not sure if it closer than an actual B&M Starbucks, though.

Being a major Starbucks addict (just the coffee not all the fancy lattes etc) I either bring my own French Roast or go to the Premium Outlet Mall after our trip to the Publix across the street. The Dolphin does serve Starbucks House Blend but not strong enough for my taste.I brew a large pot in the am and save some for an afternoon Iced coffee break. Disney is missing out on lots of business from all of us coffee addicts by not having any "real" coffee on property. Yes, I have had the pressed pots served at various restaurants...just OK for me...not great. Good Luck!!

That's my favorite too. I wish you could get those on property.

I believe Starbucks is partnered with Lowes/Universal so I dont think you will find any Starbucks at the wdw resorts or parks. The universal resorts and city walk have starbucks coffee as their standard. The resorts also have Emerils (Kuerig K-Cups which is also VERY good).

As others have said the Swan and Dolphin (non-disney owned) do have starbucks but a very limited variety. WDW has ALWAYS had bad coffee IMO. This is one area they could certainly improve as the sludge they serve as coffee is 3rd rate at best. The only place on site at wdw I have had a good cup of coffee is at the Poly (Kona), Dolphin/Swan (starbucks).

There is no Starbucks outlet at WDW, although the Swan/Dolphin (which are not Disney-owned) sell Starbucks coffee (they do not have an outlet to serve all the specialty drinks, however)

Since you're all coffee fans, I want to jump in to say I plan to bring my own ground beans and my Aeropress when we visit BCV in October. If you haven't tried it, it's the best and VERY easy to travel with (plastic, about the size of a large narrow cup). I haven't seen them in stores but bought one for my DH on the internet for Xmas and we're hooked - it makes the best brew from any beans we've tried and even removes the bittnerness from Starbucks (IMHO). We're from Seattle where you can't walk a block without a coffee shop and since we've gotten it, I hardly ever go to Starbucks any more! (I heard about it on my local NPR station.)

Have you tried the Aeropress?

I have never heard of or seen an "aeropress" but am definately addicted to my Keurig (k-cup, french press type coffee maker). I will have to do some research and check in to the Aeropress as the Keurig coffee maker is not practical for travelling and I do love my coffee.

I was just checking them out on Amazon and its very affordable. Question though...do they take some type of filters or is it just like a regular coffee press?

I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT MY WHITE CHOCOLATE MOCHA! I TRIED GIARDELLI'S AT DOWNTOWN DISNEY AND IT WAS JUST AS GOOD. THEY HAVE ALMOST EVERY DRINK THAT STARBUCKS SERVES. :thumbsup2

For this express purpose I purchased a single cup Keurig w/ traveling case. It goes where I go, along with my K-cups. Yes, I'm from Florida and drive in but I've also flown with my Keurig. We do what we must!

I agree with the the other posters regarding the coffee at WDW. It is HORRIBLE! :surfweb: They are definitely missing out on that market segment. We always brew our own in the room with beans, and buy "to go" cups to travel the World with that. If Disney ever decided to open a Starbucks on property, I'd like to own that franchise. It would be a money-maker for sure!

We always have a car so we go to the Starbucks on SR535, just down the road from Goodings and across from Vista Way. Ghiradelli's is not bad, but it's not Starbucks.
