Where can I get alcohol?

If you are needing other items, I suggest a private car service. My friends always go this route, I am not sure where they stop, I know that there is a Publix, and liquor store in the same parking lot also a Walgreens.

If your paying for a car service make sure that when booking you let them know where you want to stop, If they won't stop, there are plenty of options here in Orlando.

I'm shipping a care package to my resort, with snacks, cereals, and drink mixes. I'm including some rum runners, filled with my fave spirit. I've used RR before. They are leak proof, unbreakable, and easy to use.

We have packed bourbon in our suitcase a couple times. I just wrap it in a towel and nestle it right in the middle of our clothes. One year we didn't bring it and we bought it at the resort gift shop - it really wasn't crazy expensive. It would most likely be more expensive to take a cab to a liquor store than to just pay the markup.

First let me say that I always "Cringe" when I hear of "Subjects" like the one for this thread. In my mind Alcohol and Disney really aren't a good mix. That's just my opinion. No I am not a prude, I like a good beer or mixed drink, but when I think of "Disney" I think of a happy CHILDhood which is (generally speaking) without alcohol.

It's Mom and Dad's vacation, too.

OP, you can buy bottles of liquor right in the gift shop at the resorts. Pop had a small selection when we were there in April, and if the values have it, I'm sure all the resorts do.,

It is perfectly acceptable to pack liquor in your checked luggage. TSA posts the packaging requirements online, but basically bubble wrap and a large zip lock baggie are suggested. On the way home, the extra space and packaging are great for souvenirs! ... or so I would guess :rolleyes1
