Where Can I Get A Kids Journal Making Program Like This?

We are going to DL in May and also touring US, and I want to create a journal for my son like this one made by bethbuchall, and posted here; http://www.disboards.com/showpost.php?p=27590274&postcount=2. I tried to PM her but no reply. Does anyone know which program she might have used for this, and/or where I can get one?

IMO it looks like a digital scrapbooking program like photoshop or Memory Mixer. I create pages for my photos and have them printed at Costco for the price of a picture. Just a though.

It's for WDW, but you can change the name to DL. Pick whatever pages you like, and print them. There are neat ideas for binding it too. Makes a great memory. I've used it and printed whatever pages I wanted, and then I took it to Staples and had it bound with a clear cover, and spiral binding, so that it will open flat. I also tied a pen to the binding for autographs.

Thanks DF - that looks good, although my son has a lot of trouble writing and it probably wouldn't get used. The one with just the boxes to write in minimal details would be ideal for him. But thanks anyway

I checked out digital scrapbooking but only found programs that do things with your photos that you have now.

I hope Beth comes along and tells us all where she got this program from!

Maybe you can make one with different papers instead of on the computer. You could find (or make) paper in various shapes and glue them onto each page and then just write the headings with a pen. It might even be easier if you're not used to making that sort of thing on the computer.

Well if you get desperate you could always use something simple like Powerpoint. Import art from the web or even clip art from Word. It would be very time consuming, but if you made the one template and then just changed the words you could maybe get it done without pulling your hair out.

I have a template I did in powerpoint for our trip to Antartica for my 6 year old daughter. - not quite as colourful basically just rounded boxes but desiged that they are large enough to draw in intead of write as my daughter isn't writing yet . I would be happy to share email it if anyone would like. You could easily change the word if you have powerpoint. If not I also have it in pdf. Just PM me your email and let me know if you would like it in powerpoint or PDF. I don' know how to put a picture on her of it sorry.

I am just looking at Powerpoint for the first time on my computer and that seems to be the best thing so far. I had a play around with it and I just may be able to do it. YKmom I'd love to see your powerpoint example. I will PM you.

When we went last year one of the lovely ladies on the Aussie thread (keptwoman) sent me a copy of a travel journal she had made for her daughter. It was made with Powerpoint (I think) and I just went in and changed it a bit to make it suitable for me.
