Please help...does anyone know where I could find a Cinderella or Disney Princess child's blanket? I looked on ebay but the only ones I liked were $40! Even just a basic fleece one (like the ones the Disney store had in the winter)...here's the story on why I need it:

My daughters and I were driving home from Target tonight and the car in front of us screeched on it's brakes and there was tons of smoke since he stopped so hard and we saw him it a woman...so we pulled over and there was a state trooper driving by so we flagged him down....while we waited to give a statement he came over and asked if we had a pillow or blanket in the car to put under the woman's head & Grace goes, "I have a blanket" and gave the man her favorite cloud blanket. So I was really proud of her until 5 minutes later when she bursts into tears and wanted her blankie back. So my husband and I were telling her how she did a really nice thing for someone who was hurt and that Santa was watching and he was so proud of her and we told her we would get her a Cinderella blanket...didn't really work to calm her down but I'm sure she'll be asking to go get it tomorrow. Only problem is I have NO idea about where to get one! Any help would be appreciated.

What a wonderful little girl! :flower:

Check out Walmart - they have Disney Princess bedding, pillows, etc. They may have a blanket.

My girls have the fleece ones from the DS sold last summer- clearance for $9.99.

Good luck.

My daughters love that Princess blanket I got in the baby section of Walmart. I got it a while back but I do remember it was in a box.

They have really nice Princess bedding at our WM too. What a sweetheart you have there!

Check WM. I got my DD one for this past Xmas. It is a pink fleece blanket (very soft) with Cindy, Snow White and Belle on it. I got it for around $12 and it was in the baby section.
Good Luck and what a sweet young lady you have. I know you are very proud of her.

This is probably fancier than you wanted, but it might make a good Christmas present. They call it a throw rug, but I have one like this and I wouldn't use ot for that. I have used it as a blanket and it can be hung on the wall, too.

I think I want this one for myself ;)

Thank you everyone...I will be taking a ride to Wal-Mart tomorrow morning. I'm definitely proud of her but feel bad because I'm realizing that while she did offer it she likely had no idea that she would not be getting it back...so I think a little Princess magic will help remind her that she did a good deed and make her a little less sad about the blanket she gave away.
Thanks again!

If your Wal-Mart has a fabric section, check it out. Ours carries fleece in all kinds of character patterns. You can get a couple of yards and all you have to do it cut the edges into "fringe". It's very inexpensive, soft, washes wonderfully and won't ravel. You don't even have to sew a thing! :flower:

What a sweet girl you have!

Good luck!!

Let me know if you don't have any luck. I may have a spare in storage from the sale last year.

Thank you so much for offering, that is so kind of you! But....I got one!!!! We were a bit early for meeting my MIL this morning and were near a K-Mart...sure enough she was already asking about "my new beautiful Cinderella blanket" so we ran in and over by the infant items found a toddler-sized pink fleece blanket with Cinderella, Belle and Snow White. She is totally thrilled with it and it's great because it's not too big to carry around. It will be perfect when we drive down to NC on Friday and it comes in a clear plastic bag that could be kept and used to tote it around.

Oh, and for anyone on the lookout for Disney bedding/bath stuff...none of it was on sale but worth it to keep checking: Princess and Tinkerbell themed bedding, pillows, shower curtains and bathroom accessories. Lots of very cute stuff!

So glad to hear that you found a replacement blanket. What a thoughtful little girl!
