Where can I get a bathing suit by Monday??

My DD starts swimming for gym on Monday. I guess her two-piece isn't allowed (though it's modest, and not a bikini). So we need a one-piece bathing suit and goggles.

OY. Why didn't I know this two weeks ago when I could have ordered it off the internet?

Do you have a sporting goods store nearby? I know Academy has swimsuits on their website, so they might have them in-store as well.

Any sporting goods store will carry the suits that she will need. D I C K "s Sporting Goods I know has them (Speedo, etc).

Okay, I know where to find a couple of Dick's sporting goods. We have nothing like that in our small town. We have one small locker room type of place, but they don't carry anything for swimming.

If you can get to a Costco, ours still has the one-piece women's/girls' Speedos (might want to call first to make sure anything close to you has them in stock).

By Monday? Could you order from Lands End and ask for over-night express?

Since you only have until Monday I would also recommend a local thrift store!

We got DD's a the Sports Authority. You can also try Dick's. They aren't cheap though! I think DD's ws $60.

I got my DD's speedo swimsuits at TJ Maxx and Ocean State Job lot. I'm sure there's probably not an Ocean State near you but maybe TJ Maxx or Marshall's? Good luck. I have the same problem with a sundress for my FL trip next week so I'm just going to get it down there.

This time it's actually not her fault. It has been her fault enough times that I could still justifiably be mad at her! She wasn't supposed to have swimming this year at all, and they added her in at the last minute.

Since you have to shop anyway, buy 2 suits. When our twins were in swimming in 7th and 8th grade the girls wore two suits since swimming was co-ed and they didn't want the boys to know they were chilly, if you get my meaning. Keep the receipt and tags on the second suit if that doesn't become an issue for her and return it later if you need.
