Leaving in 2 days and can't wait to sit and relax with a good mud slide. Any suggestions?

I don't know if they are the best but I love to get a frozen Mudslide at the Stormalong Pool. It's great, the waitress brings it right to you - you don't even have to move! Last time she suggested making it with Absolute Vanilla - it was great. You can also get them at the Boardwalk pool but you have to go to the bar yourself.

Both the pool bar and lounge at POR serves a Mississippi Mudslide with just a touch of Chambord. Yum, Yum!

Personally I prefer the Fudge Mudslide they serve at Beaches & Cream........but I don't think that's what you had in mind :rotfl:

I've heard that POR has a good one as well as ESPN on the Boardwalk.

I didnt care for the one at POR, but I will certainly try the one at the YC!! We will be there in 59 days and I will ask for the vanilla absolute also!!

The pool bar at PORS is the best-we go there every trip no matter where we are staying.

while different than your "normal" mudslide - the one at POR was fantastic!

danny - a mudslide is a frozen drink made typically with kaluha, vodka and cream (and my favorite with baileys irish cream)

have fun on your quest!

Many of the chain rest. everywhere make them too. They tend to add things like, Choc. Ice cream and whipped topping. It can turn into a real good adult "ice cream sunday" or milkshake.

the cream will not take the bite out of the liqour. So if you are new to this type of beverage, you can always ask the server to only put half the rum in.

A virgin mudslide is not worth it like a virgin daqurii or pina colda can be. Just get a milkshake if you want a virgin one.

Also, I would not call a mudslide the most "manly" drink out there.

Now, a man sharing a mudslide with a girl is a differnt story :smooth: :

I had a great one at the lounge on the 2nd floor of the Boardwalk - it was rich and creamy, and right before he poured it into my glass he swirled chocolate syrup around the glass. Very good, and a nice quiet spot.

Oh YUMMY! Applebee's has a really good one and some new restaurant in town that we ate at this weekend had a really good one, too...

Chocolate syrup, Bailey's, Kahlua, yum yum yum...

I didn't even think about being able to get one there! I will try one at each restaurant and get back to you guys!! ;)

Kaluha, Vodka and Cream is a White Russian. This is my usual drink that I ask for.

Although I have been making them lately with the Bailey's Irish Cream and the Vanilla Vodka with a little milk if making them for guest at home.
