Where can I find the best COUNTER SERVICE meal?

I am specifically looking for COUNTER SERVICE that you thought.....hmmmmm this is really good! Any park, any location on Disney property! Looking for ideas of where to use my counter services choices with the MYW plan.

I have the PS for dinner already confirmed! Only 18 days to go so - thanks in advance to you all!

I am getting hungry just thinking about all of the choices

Here are my favorite counter service locations:

Magic Kingdom: Pecos Bills
Epcot: Mexico, China, Germany, and England
MGM: ABC Commissary (I think that's counter service??)

I'm not sure which of the counter service places are good with your package, but if these work, we like them too:
Spoodles pizza window on the Boardwalk
Wolfgang Puck Express in DD

Not sure if these are on your plan. But here are some great counter service locations.

EC - Tangerine Cafe, Yorkshire Shoppe (Fish & chips), Sommerfest

MK - Columbia Harbor House and everyone raves about Pecos Bill

AK - Tusker House

Resorts - Roaring forks, Beaches & Cream, Mara, Colonel's Foodcourt (POR),

We thought Flame Tree BBQ was excellent (AK) That was the best one we tried. We also liked Pecos Bill In MK.

MGM: Backlot Express
Epcot: none--but I can tell you to stay away at all costs from Cantina San Angel as the food is barely edible.
AK: Tusker House

MK - love Columbia Harbor House
Epcot - fast food in Morocco and Mexico (sorry can't remember names!).
MGM - very underwhelmed with the counter service.

MK: Pecos bills and the taco place across from POTC (I can never think of the official spanish name)
MGM: Pizza Planet
AK: Tusker House (a must!)
EPCOT: Japan or China. Both have large servings for small prices and try the native beer to wash it down with.

MK - Pecos Bills, though I hear Columbia Harbor House is good...I'm trying it on our next trip.

Epcot - Tangerine cafe

AK - Tusker House - Best counter service in WDW

MGM - It's all bad

I think DH and I are one of the few who have never been impressed by Tusker House. We have eaten there three times, thinking maybe we hit off days. Three tries I figure is enough. Only as a last resort for us.
Just another fast food counter service that we can tell. Nothing special or even that good, we think.

I vote for Tangerine Cafe (Morocco) as the best bet for WDW counter service food!

We always eat at Flame Tree BBQ in AK. We buy two meal deals and get the rib platters with the baked beans & corn-on-the-cob. Mmmmmm...... can't wait till May.

my favorites I think are Pecos Bills at MK and Flame Tree at AK

Here are my counter-service choices:
MK - Columbia Harbour House
AK - Flame Tree BBQ
Epcot - Sommerfest
MGM - No place!

MK - Pecos Bill's and Casey's

Epcot - Cantina in Mexico and Yakitori House in Japan

AK- Flame Tree (Pizzafari is ok too - just avoid Restaurantosaurus. The fries and chicken nuggets are McDonald's which are ok but the rest of the food isn't and it is overpriced and worse than McDonald's for sure).

MGM - Haven't found a place to recommend there yet.

In all my trips to WDW, I never miss out on the counter service in Mexico at Epcot. It is my favorite!!

MK: I second the vote for the taco place across from the POTC exit (can't remember the name either!)

DTD: Earl of Sandwich, yummy and great value; if you like coffee, their Kona is the BEST and they gave me a free refill.

I agree with Grumpy 92, the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco (Epcot) is one of my favorites. I also like the MK's Columbia House.
