Where can I confirm value is retained on AP vouchers not used?

So, right before the price increase in May, we bought 6 AP vouchers. My immediate family used 4 of them for our September trip, but my parents' APs were still good then, so they were planning on activating their vouchers when we go in 2.5 weeks.

My dad is currently in the hospital with heart problems, and will be having triple or quadruple bypass surgery in 6-8 weeks. In the meantime, they have these vouchers that expire at the end of the year... He should be released from the hospital today, and he is going to ask if he can still go to DL before his surgery if he uses an ECV. But honestly, I seriously doubt it...

I want to tell them that their vouchers will still retain the value that they paid for them, so they will just need to pay the difference between what they paid and the current price if they activate them next year instead. However, that's a $750+ gamble for them if Disney says "no" when they get to the ticket booths with them. Does anyone know who would be best to contact (preferably by email - so that I have it in writing) to confirm that they will still retain the value paid?

I would write to guest relations. But, I have done this before and they do retain the value.

I would contact guest relations as Malcon10t suggested.

Here is my experience. I bought 2 AP vouchers before the price increase. I activated mine 2 weeks ago, but my daughters AP doesn't expire until March. What they told us is it would still be valid in March and if the code was still in the computer she would be able to use it at the price paid (very slim chance), if it wasn't then she would get the credit for the price we paid and have to pay the difference to reflect the current rate.

But please confirm with guest relations that would also be the case for your vouchers.
