Does anyone know where the closet place or convenience store is located to buy Soy milk for my kids. We are staying at the Pop Century and will be using the magical express so I have no other ways of transportation. I was going to take their milk with me on the plane so I wouldn't have to worry about finding soy down there but now I'm getting a little nervous that it might spill everywhere's in our bags

I brought tetra cartons in our luggage. I was afraid of it spilling too so double bagged each carton. The arrived fine.

They sell it at the food court at POP. I stayed there in August and they had it. My son was not able to drink milk so I called and checked with the resort before going. You should be ok with just getting it there.

They also sell it at Mrs Potts in MK, and all sit down restaurents will have it too.

I've bought soy milk in the stores at the resorts. You can ask for it in most restaurants and I've even gotten it at places like Roarin' Forks just by asking.

You may want to bring a few non-refridgerated containers just in case you can't immediately access some.

This is what we did. We brought a 3-pack of the "juice box" style Soy with us but found they had it available in stores. We also asked for it at sit down meals--some had it, some didn't. DS is lactose intolerant and really enjoys his morning cup of "soil milk", as he calls it.

Soil Milk.
Oh, that's good! I'm going to have to remember that one! :rotfl2: I only drink my coffee with soy milk, too!

We just put in our order at Garden Grocer for delivery of a few things for our stay and they had plenty of choices of soy milk (some refrigerated and some room temperature). The front desk will hold any delivery for you. I hope that helps.:thumbsup2

excellent idea--the juice box type boxes of soy milk--I hadn't thought of that option. We haven't tried that type of packaging however--can anyone tell me if it tastes any different? (DS is newly diagnosed lactose intolerant.)

Those work great! That's what DH brought to me in the hospital....yum!

My son was newly diagnosed. POR had it in their food court. The restaurants are hit and miss for soy milk. Boatwrights had it while Le Cellar didn't. If you go to the Sci Fi cafe and your son wants shake ask if they can make one with soy milk. The chef made and delivered one special for my son. He loved it.

The "juice box" idea is great. We just recently found them and my son takes them to school everyday for lunch. He only drinks the chocolate milk and he doesn't mind.

A bit off topic, but you can get tofutti at the Main Street Ice Cream shop if you ask.

I read here that they have soy milk in the POP food court, but does anyone happen to know what sizes and brands/flavors they are?

Thanks!

The brand is Silk and they have chocolate and plain, they carry both the large and small cartons.

Last time i was there it was 1L, but if you go to the local shops you can get a half gallon carton.

Yeah, we were debating a Publix or WalMart run if we didn't think we'd be able to get away with what they sell in the resort shops. It'll only be two days, so we'll have to see from there.

Thanks!
