Not sure how they compare to other prices, and what not, but I just ordered from disneyautographbooks.com I just ordered the book, but they also have some that come with pens and some other misc..
They seem like a good company, I had e-mailed and asked questions and they replyed right away and were very polite..
Maybe others will have ideas.

I'm not sure where you live, but by me, we have Archivers (a scrapbooking store). They carry alot of nice Disney items - stamps, stickers, papers, etc.. One project I saw there is creating your own autograph book - you buy the basic book and can then decorate the cover. We did that with my niece (age 9) before the trip and she really loved having a "special" album that was difference from what everyone else had.

I found a web site try laughingplacestore.com they sell them for $11.75. That's where I plan to buy them for our trip in Dec.

Also, I kept DisneyWorld merchandise phone number from our last visit back in 2003. Try calling them directly at 407-363-6200.

got mine on ebay. they are nice, included a pen that matched and a case w/a handle........PM me and I'll send you the persons screen name if you'd like

Does anyone know if the WDW Resorts carry autograph books so we could at least purchase them before we enter the park? We will be staying at POFQ.

I believe all the gift stores at the resorts sell them. One time I ordered ours from laughingplace.com, along with the cast member pins. They were a little more expensive but it was nice not having to stop for them.

They do sell them at the resorts and at the gift shops right before you enter all the parks.

They have a Disney store inside the airport, I'm not sure if they sell the autograph books in there but you could take a look!

Also, I just took a look at that Disneyautographbooks.com and they have the cutest autograph books on there! Really cheap too! I wanted to get one for when I go to Grad Night at Disneyland that way I wouldn't have to bother when I got there and I am definetly ordering one off that site! I just had to decide which one lol there's like 8 that I want! Thanks for posting the site CandyM!

Just an FYI, we ordered 6 of these off Ebay before our trip. They came with a pen attatched with a string so the kids could put them around their neck. I was very unhappy with these autograph books.

First, the pens worked for about 2 seconds. What a hassle that was, they worked a little bit, then stopped mid-autograph. We ended up buying new pens by day 3.

Next, the strings were very hard for the characters to deal with, even though we untangeled them and had them ready to go.
Also, I thought spiral would be good so that the kids would have their pages held open, easier than asking them to keep their fingers in the book. Well, after doing this multiple times the covers started to rip off the spiral.

The inside pages were also very thin and you could see right thru to the other side, sometimes even tearing while the character was trying to autograph.

Just my thoughts on these particular books. next time I will defintiely wait until I get to the parks, they are much better quality. And it only takes about 2 minutes to hop into any store and get one.

Man, I wish I had read this a week ago. I just ordered these exact (sounds like) autograph books. I was surprised by how thin the paper was but what's a girl to do? :confused3 My thought is that if I can make them work then I will get the autographs but when we get home I will cut them out of the book and incorporate them into my kids' scrapbooks with pics of each character.

Good to know though to bring extra pens. Thanks for the tip.

ohh that stinks... I better buy it in the park then. I don't want to take any chances!

Can anyone tell me how much the autograph books are and if it is better to buy them at the resort or at the park?

I just looked at the books on autographbooks.com and these are available at the local superwaltmart in Kissimmee for less than half the price that they are selling them on the web for. They are very cheap and the pens skip and stop working. I would not recommend them.
