We are looking to go to DL mid dec through early jan and we are having a hard time finding somewhere to stay that doesn't require us to take two rooms. We also don't want to blow our whole budget on a room. We are booked for 3 nights at the DL hotel over Christmas as a treat but need something much cheaper for the rest of the time. Any suggestions??

TIA Christine

The following places have minisuites and parlor suites which have a pullout double sofa or bunk beds. Some have all three beds in the same room and some have small seperate parlors where the pullout couch is.
The Best Western Park Place Inn and Minit suites (closer walk to the parks than two of the Disney hotels)
Desert Inn and Suites (also a very close walk)
The Desrt Palm Inn and Suites (about a 10 minute walk)
Portofino Inn and Suites (also about a 10 minute walk)
A bit farther away you have...
The Peacock Suites
The Hawthorn Suites
Residence Inn

How many adults / kids are in the party? Is anyone willing to sleep on a trundle / sofabed? And how far away are you willing to go as long as there is a shuttle? Depending on the answers you could do the Marriott Suites about 1 mile away or I am sure someone else can tell you about the closer motels. We only like inddor corridors so we don't stay at any of the suite places right across the street, so I can't help with those. Good Luck.

This pic is from the residence inn by marriott, which has a full kitchen. Includes breakfast and free parking. kids suite says it sleeps 6 with One king bed in main bedroom and bunk bed set in children’s bedroom. Two full baths. TV in main bedroom. Activity table and chairs; bunk-bed storage; TV/VCR in children’s bedroom.
with incredible rates considering all it includes.

There is also the Embassy Suites Garden Grove, which is about a mile away. There are 2 beds in the bedroom and a sofabed and full dining table with a small frig and microwave in the parlor. They have a very prompt shuttle, full hot cooked to order breakfast and a managers reception every evening. The restaurant in the lobby is very good and so is the room service and the lobby is beautiful!

Our first choice is BW Park Place because of the location but Embassy is a wonderful stay!

If you can put two on a sofa bed, the Residence Inn or Embassy Suites might be a better option since it includes a hot breakfast. The Hampton Inn also has a good breakfast, but I dont' know about thier room layout.

If you don't want breakfast (at least not a hot one) the Desert Inn and Suites has a Parlor suite that has two queen beds and a sofa sleeper. You could fit two small kids on it (I would say under 10 yrs old) or a teen ager and a toddler. It was queen sized and it the living room. The rooms have fridge and microwave and the walk to the park is just a few minutes. The breakfast is simple (toast, apples/banana/orange, and a few danishes) so you would have to provide breakfast for the family, but we got the room for 69.00 per night during the off season.

Hiya Christine!
I was just about to ask a very similar question!!!
Looking for a mini-suite where we can put kids to bed and adults can still move around without disturbing them!
See ya tomorrow!

I know this is a bit late...but my sister-in-law who has 5 kids (yes, you read that right....5 KIDS lol) is staying at the Best Western Raffles Inn. She got a suite, I think for like $200/night, but it has an extra room with bunk beds. She seems pretty excited. I saw a pic of it on the website, it looks really nice.
