Where can a family of 5 stay besides POR?

Hi-Love the site-got a lot of great info for our first family trip this past summer. We stayed at POR & loved it. Are there any other options for a family of 5-youngest is 10 that would not mean renting 2 rooms or paying deluxe rates? Thanks so much in advance!

I too have a family of 5 so I feel your pain! We have stayed at POR,BC and YC. I found these rooms ok but if your kids are anything like mine they don't want to share a bed at all! Last year I actually got two rooms at POR because of a great rate. This year we are trying AKL. They have the bunk beds so noone will have to share! Deluxes are your only other option besides the two room thing. I really liked the 2 rooms, the kids could stay up and watch tv and the two bathrooms were a plus!!

Thanks, When you sat they have bunkbeds what else is in the room to sleep 5? Sorry for my ignorance? I wish 2 rooms was an option but at this point it's not.

I believe the Ft. Wilderness cabins sleep 6.

shhhhh....but you can stay anywhere if one doesn't mind sleeping on the floor....don't tell anyone that I said that....

Check the rent / tradeboard on this site. DVC's are fabulous and a one bedroom can be used for 5 but WDW supplies bedding for 4. A two bedroom is ablolutely fabulous.

Our family of five has stayed in FW cabins and they worked well: bunks, queen, and double murphy bed.
ALso, a one bedroom DVC unit has a king bed and pull-out couch. They will allow five in that room-- without having to deal with the "don't tell anyone" issue-- and there is plenty of room for a legal aero-bed. OKW is especially huge.

If your youngest isn't too big then the daybed in Poly rooms is doable. Actually that was my spot most nights because hubby and kids all are bed hoggers!
