Where are you going on first on Black Friday?

hoping to get some of the deals from Walmart and Target online 6pm.

I am probably going to go out early morning leisurely....like 6am after the crowds...and grab some movies, etc.

Trish

In my area they are advertising the snow globe giveaway will be on Thanksgiving day :( guess I'll miss out on that. I'm not shopping on Thanksgiving.

When does the ads you have seen say they are starting the give away?

The only thing I am seeing (ads on TV) are coupon give away.

Target will be the only place I'll be shopping. I want the Minecraft multi pack, Legos, and that's about it. If my husband can be out of work by 5:00 he'll try to go to walmart for the iPad, but that's about it.

Me and my fiancé ALWAYS have to hit Macy's first at his request (because he's the only man I know obsessed with sheets, towels, and comforters). I wanted to go to Target first and his response was he would drop me off or we could drive separate cars :rotfl2: So I guess I will try and buy the few things I need at Target online. After Macy's I'll take him home and probably go to Kohls. My son works at Old Navy and has to work until 3am so I'll hang out in the shopping center where he works until that time. Oh I'm going to be a witch on Friday!

No where. There is no chance I'm getting out of bed at 4am and fighting crazy crowds to get $1 anythings unless it's $1000 bills. I'll wait for Saturday (Amex Small Business Saturday) and get my $150 of free stuff while supporting local merchants along with neighbors that will (hopefully) not step on my neck while trying to get cheap towels. Yuck.

I just found a Twitter post that says they are giving out the Snow Globes (at JcPenny), starting a 5pm Thursday. So I will stop by on my way home and see if they have any. They seem to last a while here. I won't make it until close to 8pm.

This is usually my only "have to" for Black Friday but only to get the Snow Globe. But I can't find anything indicating FOR SURE if they are giving them out or not.

I haven't seen an advertisement for the snowglobe this year. I hope it isn't on Thursday (if they even have it it all).

That little snowglobe is what usually gets me up and out the door on Black Friday morning too. Why did I ever start collecting those things :rotfl2:

Rite Aid on my way home from work Thursday morning, then everything else is online :). My exciting shopping .....

i usually go to target on saturday. typically i get some cheap $4 dvds and maybe one or two things for my apartment ( blender, hand mixer, coffee maker) since i use those things every now and then i dont need really expensive ones anyway. actually i got a $12 single serve coffee maker last year for my boyfriend and it was totally worth it.

i have a coupon to lord and taylor for $20 off $40 but its valid saturday morning so i may go then. i have a bunch of gifts already and often shop online.

i want to get to sephora or ulta for those $10 sets, but i don't think ill have time as ill be at my mums.

Target .com - to order $300 worth of Target e-giftcards at 10% off.

That's it. You couldn't drag me out to shop that morning because there really isn't anything I want to purchase that badly.

can target giftcards be used to buy disney giftcards? either way 10% off future purchases there is a great deal as i do spend at least $300 every 2-3 months there since i get groceries at my local store.

Does he realize that Target sells some awesome (I think) 600 count sheets that are wonderful?
And on Black Friday they are 50% off.

I just ordered and received a Disney gift card using my red card and $40 in target gift cards. I'm pretty sure it can be done in person too
