After I hit Target.com, I plan on shopping our small local businesses. Our small community is having 15% off our main street shops. Plan on spending a stress free morning shopping and having lunch at a local cafe.

Any idea what day and time this sale starts online?

I hadn't heard of this sale, so I looked it up. It says at Target.com from 6 AM to 12 PM Central time, so that's 7 AM Eastern for me. I have never ordered gift cards online before, do they ship them to you for free? Someone asked about the 5% off for using Target cards, I find it hard to believe they would apply that on top of the 10%, or do they?

Our Giant Eagle now has Target cards, and is offering 20¢ off a gallon of gas for every $50 bought. That works out to 12% off when buying 30 gallons of gas.

This is usually my only "have to" for Black Friday but only to get the Snow Globe. But I can't find anything indicating FOR SURE if they are giving them out or not.

Not going out at all. After cleaning out 2 separate houses due to deaths in family in less then 2 years I see an over abundance of stuff.
This year I made homemade jelly etc to give.

I'm not shopping. I haven't found a single deal worth my time. I guess the people I buy for these days are not suited for the popular items. Everyone i know has a relatively new TV. The youngest kid in my family is 24, so no toys.

And I think this is sad. I LOVE BF shopping and I adore a good deal.

It is at the convention center and runs Friday Saturday and Sunday. We go every year. Lots of cool stuff! We have got some great unique gifts for people there. Info should be on the OC website.

DD14 and I will probably hit Kohls about 4am since I have a $10 off $10 coupon to spend. Far be it from me to pass up free stuff! The store is usually dead about that time - the crazies hit it the night before, and the more leisurely shoppers aren't up yet.

Then we'll go to Home Depot for their opening for $1 Poinsettias (hopefully - they are the one store that hasn't released their Black Friday ad yet) and furnace filters just 'cause I'm there. My life is just soooo exciting sometimes

Our local tack shop! They are having 20% off the entire store and DD7 needs a ton of stuff. She's growing out of her riding pants, boots, shirt, show jacket, etc. That's the only store I'm hitting on BF.

I'm very disappointed so I may just be home on my couch with my computer in my lap, but that also seems sad not to be out there shopping. I did my Kohl's shopping today already and hoping to do some of my Target online tomorrow.

That's the only thing that gets me out the door too is the $1.00 poinsettias. I know Lowes has them on sale for .99 on Friday.

I'm sorry for your loss. We did this with in-laws house last year. I still can't bear to go buy a bunch of 'stuff'. The only 'things' we're buying are clothes/boots that are worn out.

In my area they are advertising the snow globe giveaway will be on Thanksgiving day guess I'll miss out on that. I'm not shopping on Thanksgiving.
