We drove in 2000, but have flown every other time. We are driving in September...DD6 and DH whine and carry on about their ears hurting and are ADAMENT that they are not doing the airplane thing anymore . DH might change his mind after a 10 hour drive with DD6 and her best friend and cousin DNephew5!!

I'm posting the first, and possibly the lastpost, from NE Wyoming. We have been to DW three times, working on our fourth trip. We have visited DL four times. We always fly. we're thinking of driving to Denver and flying out of there. We're fortunate that our small town has flight services, but the plane is so small, holds 18, that you feel like you want to flap your arms and help it fly! I don't enjoy flying, but if it gets me to DW, I'll do it.

1 x fly, 1x drove with family, at least 5 - 6 times by TRAIN. i am the one who does not like to fly. my dd15 now is begging me to fly cause she doesnt want to sit that long on the train.........but im sure if we bring her friend along she will survive...........

We drove in 1993 when the kids were small. It was okay but I really like being there in 2 hours. We will fly when we go next May.

We live in Iowa, the drive is too brutal in the summer heat and too treacherous in the winter storms, so we *always* fly. We sure do miss that non-stop flight to MCO that ME used to offer. (sigh)

We drive down, and it takes about 7.5 hours (but it usually takes us 8.5 since we usually stop for lunch at Cracker Barrel ).

Unfortunately, we cannot drive, but, the good news is we can fly to Orlando in only 2 hours DH is always trying to take me to some exotic place, right now, I am writting to you from Mexico. Love Mexico, but, I wish it was the Mexican pavillion in Epcot instead .. I love the Mouse!!

From Salt Lake City, Utah (originally from Southwest Colorado). NO question! We fly! We would eat up too many vacation days trying to drive. Although, I don't mind driving cross country. You can see some interesting places that way.

We live in Southern California about 20 min. from DL. We're taking our first trip to WDW in August and we're flying our of LAX. Woohoo!!!

Potsdam, NY, just south of the Canadian border. If I can't fly, I don't go! It would take a solid three days to get there, if not more (it takes us 6 hours just to get out of the state if we go south...). I would never be able to get enough time off for the drive and a quality Dworld experience!

We travel from the Isle of Man. 1 hour flight to UK usually an overnight stay and approx. 8 hours to Orlando. Wish we could visit more often

Howdy from Virginia We fly because we want to get to WDW as quick as possible. The non-stop flight takes only 2 hours. It would take us 12 hours or so to drive.

From Flanders , Belgium in the heart of Europe.
After going to Disneyland Paris more then 10 times and to Universal Meditteraneo the last three years it was time to show the children the mother of all amusementparks !

We'll take the train to Paris, plane to Atlanta and from there to Orlando, arriving at 00 am

We are from the great state of Oklahoma! We have flown twice and driven once. I think we will fly this next time. That back seat doesn't offer much leg room for two growing teenagers!

Just north of Boston here. We fly down out of Logan. Would never drive down as I cannot see wasting two days on the road when you can fly down in under 3hrs if the wind is with you.

We're from central Alabama - it's about a 9 hour drive, which we usually do (especially when pulling our camper, LOL).We do fly down for shorter trips, however, to save time.

We just moved here from Colorado. We always drive to DL and fly to DW. Our flight from the west coast will actually be about the same flying time as from Colorado because we practically lived in Utah, and the connecting flights to Denver were always a pain in the butt. Now that we live near a major airport things will be much easier.
