Hi Bobbi!! I had to call day by day for my reservations. Our trip is starting May 13, but we will be on the QSDP until May 23. Because of the 90+10 I had to call each day, and make my reservations for May 23rd to June 1st one day at a time.
I also got caught in the new dining reservation maze. The new system is called ala-carte and I was the first person to make a dining reservation under the new system. I posted about the new system after I got off the phone that day and got flamed for it a bit. But I did have a few people tell me in p.m.'s that it helped them get their reservations easier.
I guess you could say that it was partially luck (since our trip was so long), persistance (calling every day at 7 on the dot), and knowing to ask the cast member in dining to transfer me to ala carte right away when they answered.
Now I think everyone is on the same dining system and the cm's have told me that on line dining reservations should start soon. Hopefully this will make things easier.
I'm sorry you didn't get LeCellier. When I tried for earlier in our trip I couldn't get it either. I think for that one you have to book it for the latest possible day of your trip. I was only competing against others who were booking their 10th day of an onsite stay. Pretty good odds at 7 a.m.
I hope you have a wonderful trip and enjoy chefs de france.:goodvibes

Hi!! I'm so excited to be staying at AKL!! Hey would you happen to have any suggestions on a good breakfast meal to have delivered to our room in the morning. I love morning room service and breakfast in bed. Wish they had Tonga Toast lol!

Sounds awesome to me!! Are you going to have CS at Epcot, or are you going to make a TS reservation? I hope you have a wonderful trip!:goodvibes

Sounds awesome!! I really wanted to eat at Tonys, but my daughter vetoed that one. I am going to enjoy my trip anyway though.:lmao:
Have a wonderful trip and good luck in persuading your DH to fly!! :goodvibes

Hi Lynn, actually I have never even seen animal kingdom, let alone stayed there! December will be our first trip there.
I will say though that Kidani will not offer in room dining(at least that is what the cm's told me when we were booking our May stay), If you want breakfast delivered than I think you have to be in Jambo. I would call member services to double check this though.
As for what to have, I have heard that their chocolate twist pastries are to die for!! The pictures look awesome. They also have the typical breakfast platters and oatmeal I think. Good luck and I hope they have room service for you!:goodvibes

Ok cool! yeah we are in Jambo house so that is good. I wonder if allears has a room service menu..I'm going to check.

Yeah Allears has it. The omelettes sound really good!

We are also there in May. My DH booked flights just after midnight on Valentines Day.:lovestruc
I was so surprised and of course happy!:cloud9: So I didn't have a huge amount of time to plan my ADRs but we are having the DDP and are eating at,

Donalds Safari Breakfast
Chef Mickeys dinner
Turf Club
Le Cellier
Tutto Italia
Mama Melrose FDP

I haven't planned our CS restaurants yet but we will definately be eating at,
Sunshine Seasons
Cosmic Rays
Wolfgang Puck Express
Pizzafari or Flame Tree BBQ

We will be at POFQ May 16-23! I am so jealous that you get to stay for 19 days!!!

We are doing the QSDP, and will eat at Wolfgang Puck Express, Cosmic Rays, and POR for sure. We are considering trying Pepper Market, b/c they have a lot of nicer choices for QS. We are also planning to 'eat our way around the world' at Epcot, just trying and sharing things from different countries. REALLY looking forward to this!

For our few TS, we are doing

O'hana at 6:40 on 5/18 and plan to watch the fireworks from the beach afterwards.
Donald's Safari Breakfast on 5/20 at 8am - before park opening!!!
Hoop Dee Doo on 5/21 at 5:15 - soooooo excited, as i've been trying to get this one for a couple of trips and finally scored!
Whispering Canyon Cafe on 5/23 at 10am - still not sure if I"ll keep this one or not; if we have tons of QS credits left I'll probably cancel this one!

Hope everyone has a GREAT time - but how could you not????;)

Just finished scheduling ADR's this morning... so this is pretty much it... might add another in but my shocker was I could not get our party booked into Sci Fi Diner and Coral Reef and I thought those two would be the easier ones??:upsidedow

May 28 - 1900 Park Fare - dinner

May 29 - Le Cellier - took a lunch for this one

May 30 - 50's Prime Time - dinner

May 31 - Tusker House - breakfast
Ohana's - dinner

June 2 - Cinderella's Royal Table - breakfast
Crystal Palace - dinner

June 3 - Chef Mickey's - dinner

June 4 - Ohana's - breakfast

And that being said - I'm going to go eat some lunch now! :goodvibes

That is exactly what we are doing the first 10 days of our trip!! QSDP with a few TS thrown in for good measure:thumbsup2 ! The reason for the long trip is that my son in law will be on R&R from Iraq and we want it to be special. We also have a lot of developer points to use for part of our stay. Have a wondeful vacation!!:goodvibes

We are going down for a quick weekend in May (22-25) for DD 13th b-day. We are eating 3 TS while we are there and they are:

D-Le Cellier
D-Chef Mickey's
B-1900 Park Fare

Can't wait. :goodvibes

We will be going to Disney May 9-15. Here are the ADRs that I have:

Saturday 9th: Chef Mickey - Figured it would be a fun way to start the trip with our kids first visit.

Sunday 10th: 50's Prime Time - Should be fun on Mother's Day. Hubby has never been here and is excited to try it.

Monday 11th: Boma - Heard so much about this the entire group (4 of us and my parents) are excited to try it.

Tuesday 12th: The Wave - Shocked that no Spoodles so I went with something close to the MK. Hubby eats vegetarian/fish (not seafood) when out and have heard decent things about it.

Wednesday 13th: Coral Reef - Figured this would be nice for the kids and good steak for my father. I have memories of going here when I was little.

Thursday 14th: Crystal Palace - This is actually my son's 2nd birthday. We thought it would be a fabulous place to go since Chef Mickey was booked months ago when I called for this date.

Friday 15th: Le Cellier - The only day and time they had a table for 6. If we wanted to break up into 3 and 3 we could have done a different day. So Friday it is!

We also have breakfast ADRs for Cape May Cafe and Kona Cafe.
