We are trying to decide and I was wondering what your choices are/were?

So far we've decided on:

Breakfast:
Crystal Palace
(we'll do CS for the rest)

Lunch: all CS

Dinner:
-Boma
-Artist's Point
-1900 Park Fare
-Narcoosees or California Grill during Wishes
-50's Prime Time Cafe
-Biergarten
-Captain Cook's (CS at the Poly, but it's sort of a tradition for us!)

Any suggestions?

Jiko! It's so romantic, and even though the dishes may sound exotic, they're all just variations on meat, fish, chicken, etc. And fabulous!

We also liked the Brown Derby, which has excellent food and wonderful atmosphere. And Sci-Fi Dine-in was really fun - we enjoyed necking in the backseat of our little car. :rotfl:

1900 Park fare for breakfast! It's the best breakfast on Disney property in my opinion.

We are planning to try Le Cellier and Jiko for the first time. And DF asked me to book an adr for Liberty Tree Tavern because that's his favorite :goodvibes

May 5th- Teppan Edo for dinner(my fiance and our bestman can't wait to eat here, they love sushi)

May 6th- Le Cellier for dinner(this place is booked like the whole week we are there for dinner lol,I called a week ago to see if I could add 2 more people onto the ADR,had no luck. We have eaten here before and LOVE it!!!

May 7th- WEDDING DAY Luncheon at The Grand Floridian Cafe

Chefs de France for dinner(It seems like a cool place to eat and the menu sounds great)

May 8th- Coral Reef for dinner( I think the atmosphere is going to be great,I love fish and aquariums, can you tell I'm a Pisces Girl

May 9th- Crystal Palace for breakfast( no dinner,we are going to PPP that night, woo hoo.We might try and get into the Plaza that night,Love it there.

May 10th- Chef mickey for breakfast and Le Cellier again for dinner

May 11th- Whispering Canyon(sounds like a fun place to eat)

May 12th- Kona Cafe for dinner(food look's delish)

I highly recommend Le Cellier!!If you can try and get an ADR there. This place books up fast.

Ooh we've done Liberty Tree character dinner before-it's a great time & the food is terrific!! I admit it, I am a sucker for $30 Stouffers meals!!

Wow, you've got some great ideas!!! For some crazy reason, Le Cellier does not interest us at all. :confused3 I think it's because we live in Boston and we are surrounded by quality steak houses, so it's not novel to us.

Kona sounds neat though-we love the Polynesian resort. What type of food do they serve here? Is that restaurant atmosphere as cool as the resort atmosphere?

Love Crystal Palace!! It's my favorite breakfast of all time! We usually don't like to take time away from the parks with a breakfast buffet, but it's so fun being at MK before they open to the public!!

We've never tried the Plaza before-is this the place that also has a great CS ice cream on Main Street?

Yes the plaza is right next to the CS ice cream on main st.Here is the menu(link) for kona..I have seen reviews on the restaurant boards and pictures and the food looks yummy so I'm excited to eat there.

Well, I checked out the menu and Kona Cafe dinner is definately not for me-I'm a pretty picky eater and I'm not big on many sauces. Not a big fan of this type of cuisine either....that said, I peeked at the Kona Cafe breakfast menu and wow!! Now THAT is right up my ally!!

I'm adding Kona Cafe breakfast to our list-thanks for the tip!!:goodvibes

I know what you mean-- we're from New Hampshire, and we thought, Gee, we can drive to Canada whenever we want. I've felt that way about the Beach and Yacht Club too. Why stay in nautical, when it's everywhere here?

But we actually got a chance to eat at Le Cellier in September, and we're planning on going there twice on our honeymoon this September. I'd still recommend it! Their pretzel breadsticks are wonderful, as is their chocolate raspberry milkshake. And the filet mignon... I have yet to eat better. They're just fantastic.

we are doing sci-fi for dinner
chef mickeys for dinner
ohana for dinner
tusker house fro donalds breakfast and
le cellier for dinner

all the rest of our 14 night stay we will eat out of disney i think
oh we have the grand floridian cafe booked for lunch on our rehearsal day

This will be our 4th trip in 18 months (insane I know) and 2 of the earlier trips were on free dining :woohoo: so we're just doing a few adrs since we've been able to try so many places already.

Rehearsal Dinner - Chef Mickey's - this is really a combo of 1. Easy to let everyone get something they'll like 2. Fun intro to disney for DF's family, and 3. good place to take my niece and nephew and not worry what kind of mood they're in :scared1:

Wedding dinner - Narcoossee's (YUM!)

Two days later - Dinner at LeCellier - DF always wants to eat there, but we never get in. This time we got a ressie for 20 ppl but I was on the phone at 180 days from my checkin! :thumbsup2

We know we'll eat at GF Cafe for breakfast one morning, and DF is dying to eat at CSR's sit down place for breakfast. We stayed there last April and discovered it's a really good buffet breakfast. It was always empty and killer food. We ended up eating there 3 of our 6 mornings!!

The rest for us will be CS so that we don't have to be too scheduled and we can save some money for shopping :yay:

I would say do Jiko. Le Cellier is really good too, but I could see going elsewhere in Epcot like Bistro de Paris. If you do Bistro, ask for a window seat.

Artist Point is a nice restaurant, and is pretty quiet. Make sure you have the ADR noted that you're on your honeymoon. We got free cobbler because of it. :goodvibes

You definately need to do KONA CAFE for breakfast! The Tonga Toast is wOnderful! I also love Narcoossees!!

We are getting married here in Dallas and will be spending our honeymoon at the Beach Club.
