Hi, will need to exchange the voucher and I'm wondering where the best place is to do this please?

Is there a location in DTD or only in the parks?

We'll be doing a MM on our first day and the majority of our morning will be in the Fantasyland/ToonTown area.

Does it take long to exchange and should we expect a line up/wait?

Thanks in advance :)

You can redeem it at the Photo Shop on Main Street. It's at the end on the right as you are heading towards the castle. Not sure if it's open during MM though.

There is also a photo store in DCA. There is nowhere in DTD unfortunately.

There are two places that you can get the pass exchanged. Photo shop at the end of Main Street on DL and the camera store in DCA.

BUT.... If you are not doing a character breakfast(first day), you do not have to exchange it as soon as you arrive, line- up may be longish.

If you see any photo pass photographers, just get your picture taken, and get a photo ticket from them. Keep this ticket, and use it for all your photos until you get a chance to take a break and head over to the camera shop. ALL the photos you take with the photographer's ticket can be transferred very easily, at the photo booth. Have a fun morning and do the exchange in the afternoon.

We went with two families and we have one set with the photopass pass, and everyone else had the photographers cards. We just went over at the end of the day and did the transfers.

Tip.. Keep the photos numbers from the rides, and you can add them later, up to 24 hours later. Always ask if the photographers do magic shots.

If you write down the number from a ride photo-do you go back to the ride in the afternoon after you have redeemed your voucher or can the Photopass location transfer the ride photos and your photo ticket photos including character greets?

On more than one occasion I've gone back to the ride photo place 2-3 days later and had them add ride photos to my PhotoPass +. I always take a cell phone picture of my ride photo, so that I can tell the CM the photo number. Also, if for some glitch the ride photo went missing, then you could put in a report about missing photos, with your number.

I seem to recall that the only place that can add ride photos, is at the actual ride itself unfortunately. So it may mean a bit of backtracking. Most of the ride photo kiosks are just outside the ride, but RSR would require you to enter through the exit queue to get to the registers.

On our recent trip at the end of August, when I was retrieving ride photos from Space Mountain the CM told me they keep the photos for 2 weeks now. He said it was a recent change and he was able to find a photo from 3 days prior when I was there. The one thing I don't know is if that was just Space Mountain or for all the rides that take photos. I would think it would be for all rides.

Yes, this is the down side of having to go back because you have to go to the specific ride. On our trip in August, I was there with 11 other family members and I had to go back to several rides to retrieve their photos but it was worth it. I do the same thing and take a photo of the ride photo so I don't have to write the number down. Also one time, I sent myself a text message with the number.
