And how much do they cost? We leave tomorrow and I just remembered about these! My 6 yr old ds will want them so I must be prepared with pennies and quarters.

Any help will be appreciated!!

Yes - bring pennies & quarters, lots of them. A pressed penny is 2 quarters + the penny, and the pressed quarter machines are 5 quarters.

We got a list of all pressed penny and quarter machines from the concierge at the Poly - was very cool to have esp. if you wanted all of the prinesses, or all of the villans, etc - you could see exactly where the machines were.

I saw lots of Mickey's 75th anniversary pennies & quarters. Good Luck!!

Thanks!! We are staying at Poly concierge so I'll be sure to ask for the list. My ds will be more interested in the villians than the princesses I'm sure. He'd be very happy if there were no princesses - such a boy!

Thanks again for the info. Now I have to get to the bank.

there are 7 villan pennies and they are at the Port Orleans, All Star Sports, DTD and Poly, if I recall. Scar is at the Poly, the machine is upstairs in the GCH between the elevators and the gift shop. DH didn't know they had anything like series of pennies; but the machine at the Poly said the Scar penny was 4 of 7, so we asked the conceirge for the list, to find the others.

Yes, there's pressed quarters at a lot of gift shops. Here's a site that might help you. It's a little outdated (hasn't been updated for a few years), but it should give you some idea on where to look:

Does anybody know if there is a disney book of some sort to put pressed pennies in ??? We have been going to disney for 4 years now in sept and I think this would be a really fun new little thing to do. If there is a book where can I find one??? Thank you:hyper:

They do sell them. I have one that holds 36 pennies and 6 quarters and cost $6. I got it at World of Disney at Downtown Disney Marketplace, but I've seen them at a lot of the shops at WDW, especially shops like the Emporium, MouseGears, or hotel gift shops. I think they're usually near the counted with the autograph books or with the souvenir-type things like key chains and photo albums.
