Where are the Mickey chocolate bars?

Every trip I look forward to my Mickey chocolate bar. Okay 2 or 3 of them plus I bring at least one home. Plus I beg my cousins in Nevada to buy and mail me when they go to Disneyland. Was at WDW last week and panic! No Mickey chocolate bars!!!! When did they leave and any word if they are gone forever? I really could use a fix!

I was there last week and they were everywhere. Parks, resort gift shops, quick service eateries at resorts.

I was unable to find what I consider to be the Mickey chocolate bars anywhere in Feb. They have chocolate bars, but not the same ones. In Feb, at least. Maybe they're back. Or maybe what sons considers to be the bars aren't what I'm thinking of.

There were no Mickey bars the last week of August. Last year I noticed the quality of them had changed for the worse This year there was only a coconut bar and then Snickers bars. Very disappointing.

I only saw the coconut bars and the mint ones. Just not the same. Hope Disney scopes these boards and brings them back.

The Mickey Chocolate bars were made by Madelaine chocolates in New York, the factory was wiped out last year by hurricane Sandy.

Hopefully they will return!

Thanks ColinA for the post! I'm so sorry to hear the factory was wiped out by Hurricane Sandy. I hope they know they have some Mickey bar fans out there. I always tell friends I help with Disney plans to just bring me back a Mickey bar for payment

Nope, not the same. Really rotten ingredients, from the point of view of my family. The milk chocolate and dark chocolate were decent (if cheap) ingredients that we can have.

Mickey bar = ice cream (with ingredient my family can't have) with chocolate over it in the form of a mickey head.

Mickey chocolate bar = chocolate bar with the name Mickey on the wrapper if memory serves.

Wow, that's a bummer.
