Where are the jalapeno pretzels?

They used to sell these in AK at one of the little booths on the way to Asia, but I believe now that booth serves gluten free baked goods. Can anyone confirm if they've seen these elsewhere in the park?

I thought they were gone everywhere

Yep, that is what we were told as well. . .not sure why they were removed because we always had to wait to get one because they had to restock. We used to grab those pretzels at the Fife & Drum or the Block & Hans prior to watching the concerts at America's Garden. Loved them. . .

There was some chatter about a change in suppliers, which resulted in the stuffed pretzels not being available. The sweet cream cheese one is back, so it's possible that the jalapeño one will follow.

You have my attention!! Where are the sweet ones now??

I will never not be bitter about them taking the jalapeño ones away. I so hope they bring them back :sad1:

Ok, I had to come back and report my pretzel experiences...ha. So I HAD to try the ham and cheese stuffed one from Gaston's. It was EIGHT dollars, so I was floored when it came out and it was about the same size as the standard chocolate croissant, not like Mickey-head pretzel size! It was quite tasty, but my family of four each got two bites. FOR EIGHT DOLLARS. That's $1 per bite!!! (And I cut it up myself--nobody was taking mega-bites.) *sigh*

Another day we hit the Lunching Pad and ordered the sweet cream cheese pretzel. Standard "big pretzel" size. But what I thought was a dusting of cinnamon sugar was...well, I still don't know, but blindfolded I would've guessed sawdust. The only sweet part was the cream cheese, and that was just slightly sweet. It was so dry I really couldn't even choke it down, and I actually threw half of it away. (So actually, eating only half of a $4 pretzel is kinda the same as eating all of an $8 one!!! D'oh!!! LOL)

But don't cry for me, Argentina ;) I managed to have TWO Dole floats during this trip, so the snacking situation wasn't completely hopeless! But next time I'll stick with a plain Mickey head pretzel :)

Thanks for the warning on the ham&cheese one.

I didn't want to yuck anyone's yum, but those cream cheese pretzels are awful. We had the same experience with very dry and unpleasant flavors for both but they have their devotees.

Totally late to this discussion but just happened across the thread.

My oldest DD LOVES the jalapeno pretzels and was so mad when they were pulled from the parks. Luckily for her, they were still available at Typhoon Lagoon (as of late August/early September 2016 anyway) and she was able to get her favorite Disney snack fix!! She is hoping they will still be available when we are back in June/July 2017.
