where are the good quick service dining?

Agreed! That's where we are planning to eat for sure for one of our CS meals one day. It was one of our fav meals of the entire trip last time.

My DH loves the orange cous cous...he always makes me laugh because when he eats cous cous he always says "cous cous, the food so good they had to name it twice!" I always roll my eyes like I'm tired of the joke but I still find it funny - hehe!

It is still funny b/c I just chuckled aloud. :lmao:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds it funny (well besides my DH that is)...BUT now everytime you eat cous cous or someone says cous cous you will think of that line, hopefully it never gets old for you :rotfl:

MK: Caseys Corner, Columbia Harbor House and Pecos Bill
AK: Flame Tree BBQ is so yummy!
HS: Starring Rolls
Epcot: we ate at the electric umbrella once...yuck! After that we opted to eat a late breakfast before we go and skip lunch.

The port orleans resorts have really good cs options, imo better than most resorts.

Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD has really good cs...prob our fav!

I just wanna say it might be cheaper to upgrade than pay cash for 3 TS.You might wanna do the math just to be sure. But I think you can still use TS credits @ QS stops if you want. [just think it will be less $$$]Anyways, Pecos Bills is my fav QS in MK but CHH is very good too. Mexico in Epcot. DHS,I snack on giant pickles & soft pretzels. I have never been thrilled w/ the QS options @ DHS but they are ok. AK I hear flame tree is the place to try,but have yet to try it.

This! I did the same at first, I had 3 TS and the QS dining plan. I priced out what we would eat at each of the three, even skipping dessert, and it was going to cost me $100 more to pay out of pocket than it was for the upgrade to the DxDP. For reference, our TS are at Via Napoli, Le Cellier, and Tusker House.

At Magic Kingdom, Columbia Harbour House has got some great fish and fries, and I don't believe they have ANY type of burger. CHH is one of our favorite Quick Service Stops, because whenever we've visited Adventureland and Frontierland and are in the Liberty Square section of MK, we're so starved and we always get a great meal there.

Cosmic Rays is also neat, they have some yummy food, my Dad had a rib sandwich once that he enjoyed.

Epcot- Epcot has a few quick service locations, one in each country. I do remember having some yummy fish and chips at the Rose and Crown last trip on my birthday :)

less $$$]Anyways, Pecos Bills is my fav QS in MK

Mine too!

DD12 and I also like Pizza Planet at DHS... for one QS credit, you get a decent personal pizza, small salad, beverage, and dessert, which is more than enough to share. The quality is not stellar, but it beats starving, as my dad would say.

:lmao:

We loved Tangierine Cafe in Morocco - best meal we had by far.

Others we ate at:

MK - Pecos Bills (just OK), Columbia Harbor House (very good)
EP - Sunshine Seasons (wide variety, but really just OK)
AK - Flame Tree BBQ (good)
DHS - Backlot Express (OK)
DTD - Wolfgang Puck Express (excellent)
Resorts - Mara at AK Lodge - bleh

Our favorites were by far Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich, both in Downtown Disney. Wolfgang Puck felt like a table service meal... Place your order at a counter, get a number tent for the table and a server brings it to you, actual table, actual plates... Portions are *huge* and super filling and very delish. It was, I thought, the best deal out there for a quick serve.

Earl of Sandwich, the selection was great, the sandwiches are amazing (and I'm not a sandwich person normally) and we always left feeling disgustingly full. The line often looks long, but it moves really quickly, though finding indoor tables proved slightly tricky. Staff was, I'd say, the most knowledgable on how you can order and what you can order while getting the most satisfying foods without breaking your Dining Plan or your wallet (two people, two sandwiches, two drinks, two treats, and it was about $23 and very filling).

This last trip, we ate at both 6 times combined. LoL

On a whole, I think Epcot offered the best and most diverse options for really good counter service foods while Hollywood Studios had the least. I didn't like most of the places to eat in DHS.

DD- Wolfgang Pucks
Epcot- just about anywhere on the World Showcase, but I especially love the fish and chips in England.
HS- starring rolls
MK- Columbia Harbor House
AK-? No opinions really

And I personally have like the food courts at POP and POR, they have tons of choices.

MK - Columbia House - love the tuna sandwich

AK - Yak and Yeti counter service. YUMMY!

EP - Fish and chips in England

DHS - none - worst CS choices

Resort - POR has a great food court. Love the sandwiches, make yor own pasta, soups
