Where are the elevators at the Boardwalk Villas?

I have heard that the boardwalk has some long hallways. I want to be cognizant of that when requesting a room. I just haven't found any information on where the elevators are, to try to figure out what the right balance is between view and convenience.

Thanks

They are just off the lobby, right past the store (sort of above the pool)
They're marked on the map

Those are the only ones?!?!

I assumed they were others, but those were marked because they served the lobby. Wow. Those are some long hallways

It's very possible I'm forgetting one on the Villa side (it's been a while since I stayed there)
I know I'm not on the Inn side. Other than there are 2 technically on that side but so close together they can't show both. But they operate to different floors

Nope, that's it. And we were in the last section overlooking the croquet lawn. We did use the stairs on the end to leave the resort though, which was handy.

Yes, one bank of elevators. When we stayed at BWVs we were down by the L on the map on an upper floor - it was quite the hike to get off the bus after a long day on your feet at a park, hike up that hill from the bus stop to the lobby, then join the crowds at the banks of elevators to get to your upper floor villa, then hike down to the very end of that long hallway which felt a bit tunnel like, lovely villa once you got there, tho’ :)

I am curious, does the number of elevators make that big a difference?
I mean, if they did have one at the end of the hall near the X or the L on the Villa side what would change?
Your walk to the Lobby, Boardwalk, bus stop or the boat dock would not change would it? Just the spot where you go up/down changes, right?
The hall is still long
We only stay on the Inn side and it's not so bad, though I've always wished they had an exit to the Boardwalk down near the ESPN restaurant

We stayed in the L overlooking the tennis courts, about as far away from the elevators in one direction as possible. It really wasn't a bad walk at all. We never timed the walk, but it definitely didn't feel as long as I thought it was going to be. Instead, it felt surprisingly brief. The carpeted floor felt a bit bouncy after long days in the parks, and the temp in the hallway was always comfortable. The walks to our rooms at AKL felt much longer to us, and it certainly feels like their floors aren't nearly as padded as the floor in BWV's hallways. Plus, the cheerful CMs we would pass in the hallway at BWV made the walks to and from the room seem even shorter.

Can you get in the doors at the end of the hallways by the stairs? Or only out?
You can get in, but must use your room key (or Magic Band) to unlock them. We preferred having rooms at the end of the hall for the staircases.

Boardwalk views far down the hall are the best. I use the stairwells a good bit when headed to HS but also the elevators to get to Epcot or the boardwalk. Love the music piped in near the elevator area. Part of the ambiance.

Those are only available for points stays. Not sure if the OP is using points or cash.

It matters if walking to the elevators requires backtracking. People coming from the HS path and staying at that end of the hotel have to walk past the area of their room to get to the elevators, then back towards HS when they're on their floor.

Not sure that it matters "that much" but, after a long day on one's feet, I can see getting a bit grumpy about looking up and walking past the area of my room to get to the elevators

People complain about BWV hallways. We stayed one night at Yacht Club last July, our room was down near the Dolphin. I swear longer than any Boardwalk hallway. Plus we stayed at the Polynesian, it's a good walk from the lobby to the DVC rooms, especially in the rain. We learned how to walk through the buildings to stay out of the rain as much as possible.

I agree. That hallway at yc is awful
