where are the codes!???????????????

UUUUGGGHHHHH................... Still waiting for the last week of April for the FLA ressie code. Already have it booked at a AAA rate, but that FLA rate is what will give me 2 rooms instead of squishing into 1 room (dh and I are treating my folks to a 3 day stay with us) and possibly upgrading to a lagoon view.

My TA told me that with the new MYW, Disney may not have codes for awhile I sure hope this isn't the case, but I am resolved to the fact that no discount may be out for our May trip.

I have also heard that they are not planning on coming out with codes because of the new system but reports have it that they are mailing out the postcards with discount rates so hopefully they will. I also booked with AAA discount but am still hoping for a cheaper rate. I have also been checking with off-site hotels in that area and they seem to be almost the same rate as the all stars.

I strongly believe codes will come out like they have every year. The MYW tickets are a good deal, but Disney is banking on the fact that people will not buy the no expiration option and will end up losing some days at the end of a trip.

They will still need to fill their resorts and codes will be offered, imo. As stated in a post or two up, codes did not come out until March 9 last year. Relax, take a breath, and be diligent about checking for codes. They will come out, I have no concerns about that.

anyone care to guess what the rate will be at Value resorts for the next set of codes? I know the postcards show $59 a night...are the public codes usually the same?

just wanted to say when I called the main # to check on a couple prices I was told they had sent me a code. I did not get one (I have been watching) and would not have known if I had not called. However it was in the computer so they were able to apply it to my room! Don't know if that has happened to anyone else - but it sure doesn't hurt to check!!

Whats the main number and did they send you a code because you stayed last year or because you had a reservation this year?

I'm waiting for codes also. I remember last spring people were worried that there may not be room only codes because of the packages that were coming out. Everyone was worried that Disney was going to push the 7/5 package and that would hurt ap/room only codes. Everytime I begin to wonder if there are going to be codes, I just remind myself of this.
