We have been to WDW four times in the last seven years. However, I cannot say that I have ever had a dessert that really is GREAT. We are back in six months and starting our dining plans. Does anyone know of any good dessert places???

Where have you had dessert? Most of the time I very much enjoy mine! California Grill and Citrico's were both very very good. Liberty Tree Taverns was simply amazing at lunch. Love the dessert at Ohanas. Wasn't impressed with Yachtsmen's or Artist Pointe. Trying to think of them all......

will be curious to see other replies.

I love the walnut lemon cake at Tony's and everything at Boulangerie Patisserie.

At California Grill I loved the molten Valrhona chocolate cake with strawberry ice cream. Narcoossee's has a really good chocolate mousse, as well as an almond-crusted cheesecake with cherries that people rave about. And the malva pudding at Jiko is one of my favorite desserts because it tastes authentically South African.

I used to love Artist Point's berry cobbler with fresh berries until they changed it into something gooey and less fresh-tasting. But they've recently changed it up again, so now I plan on retrying it.

Here are pics:

Best dessert on property is the carmelized banana napoleon at Flying Fish. Ragland Road has pretty good bread pudding. The rest of the desserts on property don't really wow me or stick out. We pick 1 night to head to Ghirardelli's at DTD for dessert. They have awesome ice cream.:thumbsup2

Those pictures are awesome. The cheesecake looks delicious. I have had a few desserts at sit down restaurants, but in all fairness, many have been at buffets. The desserts at the buffet at Jambo house are pretty good though. They had a different take on the flavors which I really enjoyed. I remember one was like a truffle with a mango center. Yum..

I love the carmelized banana napoleon at Flying Fish. Citricos, Narcossees' and Jiko have wonderful dessert. During the day my husband loves going to France at the bakery and loves all types of sweets there.

The chocolate wave from Coral Reef is UH-MAZING.

So are the S'mores from 50's Prime Time

California Grill's chocolate molten cake is one of my favorite WDW desserts. DonaldDoleWhip's picture does it justice.

The chocolate peanut butter cake at Sci Fi is amazing...my boyfriend and I were fighting over it, it was so good.

Kona cafe at the Poly has such a large variety of desserts, I'm sure you can find something there! My fiance had the Kona cone and LOVED it! I think I had some sort of chocolate cake...All I know is there were so many choices and I wanted them all! :cloud9:

California Grill and BlueZoo have amazing desserts.

I'm going to try and book a WISHES dessert party when we're there in December...those choices look AMAZING! For now, our fave is the vanilla-custardy cake dessert in Biergarten...light, rich--a little bit of heaven:worship:A close #2 would be the bananas foster dessert at Ohana's--that's one incredible "party in your mouth":rotfl2:

O'hanas is pretty good

I used to work @ All star music & LOVEEEEEEEEE their cheesecakes & carrot cakes. DELISH!!!!!

There's a little 50s style ice cream shop at the Beach Club that serves a family size sundae called the Kitchen Sink. We couldn't stop laughing at its size when they served it. I guess we're typical American gluttons...:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

My DD and I have been craving a No Way Jose Sundae from Beaches & Cream ever since we made our ressie for next March. As you can see by my ticker...we have a long wait:(

Pistachio Creme Brulee at Tony's

My all time favorite!

I will also mention Yachtsmen, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, the bakeries in France and Norway, Kona Cafe, 'Ohana, Coral Reef and Turf Club (specifically the chocolate lava cake there). I think the only buffet that has really exceptional desserts is Boma. The rest are pretty sub par.
