When we did our first Disney cruise, we stayed at the Poly and the rooms were right by the monorail (not the most desirable in the house!). Where are the cruise rooms for the Beach club located? Can we pay to upgrade to waterview?

Thanks! :wave2:

I really don't think they have rooms set aside for the land/sea package at the BC.

We stayed at the BC last year with the L&S cruise. All of the rooms seemed very nice even the Garden view which we had. The only noise problem I think you will have will be when the fireworks start but thats about it. It is a Wonderful hotel and I bet you will love it! Don't forget to eat at Scoops!
If it wasn't for our kids wanting to try the AK this year, I would stay at the BC again for sure. :earsboy:

Last April on our land/sea vacation, upon our checkin at the BC, their first words were"You were upgraded". We got a water view!!!

We stayed at the BC last April as part of the land/sea - I asked if there were specific rooms set aside for the land/sea people, and was told no - everyone is scattered throughout the hotel. We had a garden view, and at night could watch the fireworks over epcot - it was great! Only complaint is that it was a LONG walk back to the room from the elevators after a day at the parks!! They were very organized the AM of the cruise departure - told us to have our bags all packed and near the door of the room (on the inside), as they would be picked up by I think 7:30 or 7:45 - they were right on time! We just love the BC! :lovestruc

Do you remember what time the disney bus came to pick you up to go to the port from the Beach Club? We're thinking of maybe doing a character breakfast at the Cape May Cafe before we get picked up. Or even maybe running into Epcot for a few hours if we have time.

A character breakfast is do-able. I beleive you will meet at 10am or 11am to board the bus.

We did the 3 day land/4day sea back in October. When we checked in at the Beach Club, we never asked about upgrades or where our room would be. They just handed us the keys, and imagine our surprise when we opened our door to a beautiful room, with a balcony and water front view!! We were thrilled!! This was our first stay at the BC but will NOT be our last. The bus picked us up at 11:45, we were on the ship by 1:15.

We had 9:00 reservations for the character breakfast at the BC that AM, and we were told to be the atrium with our carry-ons by 11:45, at which time we had our documents reviewed and the bus was waiting for us. We also were on the ship by 1:15, just in time to be allowed to enter our cabin. Luggage was not yet there (arrived approx 4 PM), but it was nice to freshen up a bit before going up for lunch. It really was a flawlwss transition all the way! :wizard:
