Where are some places you’ve never eaten but want to try? Reviews welcome

i am going solo on my 11 day trip to disney this fall.
I have decided which table service resturants to do but some i am hesitant to try.

someone on another board goes solo a lot and suggested sci fi as it is dark and no one can tell who you are with.

sci fi i have done before and might just go there for the desserts.

if you have been to one of these places, let me know if you think being there solo would make much of a difference.

ohana
kona cafe
boma
biergarten
le cellier

i have been to hollywood and vine, chef mickey, liberty tree, and crystal palace by myself last year and didn't have any issues with any of them.
the buffet places i felt like i blended in. not real sure of the table service by myself in the ones i listed above.

please share with me your thoughts.

Boma is good. There are some exotic foods on the buffet, but I am a pickey eater and I enjoyed it. I'm sure dining alone there would not be out of the ordinary to anyone.

I am wondering if anyone, even the biggest Disney Commando, has ever eaten at every restaurant in the World? Is this possible? I guess it is, but it would be tough, unless you lived close by I guess.

Daisy's Baby: Should we do LTT for lunch or dinner?

Spoodles: Excellent for breakfast or dinner. Lots of interesting and delicious food.

macraven, your list is making my mouth water, LOL! The only one that might seem a tiny bit weird to eat at alone would be ‘Ohana. Since it’s served family style, you’d have a pretty big amount of food all to yourself. Of course, that’s not a bad thing. ;) :teeth:

tortoni, we love LTT for both lunch and dinner, but I would have to give the slight edge to lunch since it’s so relaxing.

Liberty Tree Tavern—this is one of our favorites. We have eaten here numerous times for both lunch and dinner. At lunch you order off a menu, and there are no characters. It’s typically a nice, peaceful meal. The food is excellent. For dinner it’s a bit more hectic since there are characters. The food is served family style, and is traditional American fare (turkey breast, ham, flank steak, mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans). An apple cobbler is served for dessert at dinner. We have had some good character interaction at dinner, and some not as good. Since we’re adults I think it’s harder for the characters though. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The ones I have yet to try, but are on my "wish list" are Flying Fish, California Grill, and Narcoossees. My DH will not be with me during my September trip, so I want to save these three restaurants for a time when he is with me and not our children. :)
