Where are people going first in Studios at rope drop?

I'm wondering if the new Simpsons ride opening has changed strategies for people at rope drop at Universal. It seemed to me over the past few years that Mummy had been a big rope drop attraction with a lot of people heading over to that attraction first. I know it has only been a few days but is that changing now that the Simpsons ride is open?

With the new ride will that change your thinking about what you'll do first in the park?

The Simpsons...especially if you don't have Express passes. If you don't ride it first thing, it's gonna be a LONG wait. :headache:

yep The simpsons!!!

as for IOA i still havent figured that out yet...i dont know which one gets the crowded the most.

i would think simpsons first. lines are going to be super long.

Spidy and Hulk do fillup fast.

At the Studios...if this morning was any indication of what it's like at opening, The Simpsons is stealing the show right now...the rest of the park was dead! There was a constant and heavy stream of people heading that way so if you don't want to ride it, you should be able to do anything else with no wait at all.

Yep everyone is running for the Simpsons. That was how it was last weekend and but it was down when with difficulties we went but reopened at 9 30 with a 90 minute wait.

Thanks all!

Metro, thank you for checking today's flow. We'll be making our annual US/IOA trip next month and expect to follow the big crowd to the Simpson's a couple of times, but I thought it would be nice to get in a few Mummy rides on a couple of days if the crowds were all heading elsewhere now. :cool2:

We just got back and have to say everyother ride in the park at US is walk on in the morning except SIMPSONS EVERYONE is running there . We got to the park Thurs . the 2 and waited like 15-20 min tops on Friday we skipped it and went to IOA on Saturday we tried to get there early and woke up late so we were there for 9:30 and it had to have a 90 min . plus line . Sunday morning before we checked out we got there early at the rope drop and still waited 15 - 20 min and when we got out it was I think 40 min already .

IOA is always the same everyone goes to Hulk and spiderman . We went the other way and went through suess landing with no body around and had a 15 min wait on DD when we got back there .

Thanks, we might head out tomorrow and see how the crowds are, being new Orlandoians and stuff. Gonna have to do simpsons once, but it'd be nice to hit a few rides and head home without having to wait 30 mins.
